The replies to his tweet also illuminate the hypocrisy of the WoW community. RMT’ing and cheating is disgusting until it’s their favourite streamer getting caught out, then it becomes Blizzard’s fault and everyone’s feeling sorry for them.

I assume theres false positives. Supposedly boosters got like 6months and boostees 1? Dont know if thats true though

Funnily enough in my entire time playing I’ve never been ‘falsely banned’.
Also Whaazz is banned for a month, pretty sure he isn’t a boostee.

This. And frankly, there was a point where i would have deserved to be banned for being toxic in bgs… yet nothing ever happened.
BUT, let’s not fool ourselves. There were cases of bans in the past that have been overturned shortly after. We have to wait to see the full picture. I have a hard time to believe that from all these people Whaaz would resort to RMT and jeopardize his account that is vital to his job.
Lontar on the other hand openly admitted to it.

Right but he also plays with some boosters who got banned. So either he is a booster or their flagging just bans people who played with a booster.

If done wrong, then punishment should follow. If not done wrong, then there shouldn’t be a punishment.
I don’t care who it is, I don’t care how much money a person brings to the game, if done wrong then punishment should absolutely follow. That’s the ideal the player base has deserved for all this time, yet never properly received.

Ok so apparently it was 2 different ban reasons. 1 for RMT who got 6 month and 2. for anything related to win trading or people playing with wintraders who 1 month.
No more viewer games hopefully and all other bs that goes with it, they give streamers money they play with them “subscribe, donation etc.”

Tbh it’s just ‘’ à bit annoying ‘’ for them but they just do another account instantly and continue so it doesn’t change anything at the end unforch 
you dont have to care about pvp if you bann all the pvp competitors, blizzard 900 iq
