Soothing mist randomly getting interrupted STEPS TO REPRODUCE INCLUDED

Is there a bug with peer into peace where vivify/enveloping occasionally cancel the channel of soothing mist? It keeps happening in raid and in several cases someone died because my character started hard casting vivify even though there were 5+ seconds left of the channel.

If you want to force people to take the fistweaving build just tell us openly.

After 6 hours with the training dummies here’s how to trigger it:
I doubt the talents matter (besides picking peer into peace) but this is the one I used:

Go to the friendly training dummies.
Hard cast enveloping mist on a dummy and cast soothing mist just as the GCD finishes. Aim for the GCD. Then cast vivify on another target while still channeling.

After a few attempts peer into peace will be completely disabled until you do a soothing-> instant enveloping on someone.

Someone else please test it as well so I can put it in a bug report.

This is a known bug that hit every channeling monk spells. It has been reported month ago. It seems to be due to proc, in your case most likely zen pulse proc, and or chi wave still being jumping during the channeling.
It also affect celestial conduit and spinning crane kick.

I tried without those two and it still happens, but I’m almost positive it’s less frequent. Wouldn’t consider it solved though.
