Just think of the RIO posts on the forums, trust me - people will bring that selecting members to new level - right legendaries, right covenant. Wouldn’t matter if you do not PUG. But many do.
Oh, some people would do that indeed. There was a group for a +4, if I remember correctly, who had in the description “LINK CORRUPTION!!!”. I laughed.
All my group content, if I do it, is pugged. Some people are very relaxed, others have ridiculous requirements. I try to ignore those, or form my own groups. I’ve changed my mind about RIO though once I started pugging my own keys.
Point is, how they Envision things and how they implement them is rarely coherent. It does sound good on paper, doubt it will be when implemented.

But see you are strong personality - if you can shrug it off. And I also come from relaxed environment - I could do my content half naked too, but we have to look the bigger picture. It is the same thing why we cannot replace people in M+ run, or why we have vote to kick or personal loot. Because if something can be used against other player - it is going to.
I have done my m+ runs with 0 aoe corruptions, and yup - open the dungeon tool and people ask corruptions for low keys. if covenants will have fixed legendary effects and talents, there is going to be CoD level of toxic behaviour.
I personally would like to only have a cosmetics/mounts/themes as choice and not have any combat bonuses at all.

Hi guys, from Ion’s interview I learned new thing - bringing back PvP vendor doesn’t mean that PvP gear is separate. Ion said that he wants someone who does both PvP and PvE to have advantage over someone who only plays PvP.
But wait a second… 99% one covenant will be better for PvP and other for Raiding. So which one should I use? Or maybe should I raid first and then at the end of the season swap my covenant xD I’m just kidding but 1 design negates another here. It makes no sense.
That’s not what he said, what he did say was that a person who is good in both aspects should have an advantage, but only a small one. I still disagree with that myself though.
In BFA he was also telling about small advantage and how it ended we both know.
One of Arena forum members - Drae - rank 1 DK made post about it. Because mate 1 thing is what 1 Ion says and other is truth. He was wrong multiple times.
I’ll give you few examples - 2h sword from King’s Rest - bis 2h weapon in PvP except season two when we had “poseidon meta” and all of them used Uunat’s Trident. The worst example of this design is probably Opulence tank trinket. Meele agility/str classes that struggle with survivability had to get it to be viable. To see Warriors, Rets, DKs, Ferals wearing them is not suspicious because they have tank specs but there were Enha Shamans and Hunters playing with them. What people did was they paid gold to players who had tank spec to need the trinket and then trade it. For short period of time even Mages were wearing this trinket and this is only example from 1 season. There were more obviously mate.

He doesn’t play PvP. He has 5 lvl of honor on his character after Legion and BFA. It means that he wasn’t even doing these daily PvP quests on Broken Isles. I can link you his Shaman if you want.
Oh I mistook his past actions as if he did PvP too, my mistake… i thought the elitist whatever was related to PvP somewhat… then it is even worse - he wants PvE people dominate PvP, because this is what is going to happen
Elite Jerks - his guild was pure PvE guild. Ion’s highest rating is 1900 from Wrath. He played in some pleb battlegroup because he got duelist then.

I, personally, believe that best PvP reward should come form PvP activities alone, trinkets, weapons, what-not, and best PvE rewards should come from PvE and PvE alone.
Guess who could get the idea that M+15 key reward is equal to Mythic raid and Gladiator PvP rewards xD Earlier it was +10

There should be PvP equal to M+ weekly reward, but not sure what should be the PvP equal content be though …
How do you still not get the point? IF the covenants are not fairly balanced (and by seeing them they dont seem to be even close to one another) there will be no choise for most of us, questing and that new expansion feel goes so far and if we are benched/declined for our endgame progressions just because we didnt chose to play with fairies i doubt many would make the aestethic choise, and even if you go for the power choise you have to be there huging the blue pixies while the coold kids are hanging with vampires and necrolords for the rest of the expansion. Power progresions are NOT PLAYER CHOISE.
That beeing said i did watch the interview and if they want to stick with this system and try and make it work im more than willing to give them a chanse to see if they can do it, if they do cool ,no issue. I was relievied that Ion said that if it doesnt work they can just flip the switch and make them talent-like which is really all we are asking, to have a backup if it fails and not be stuck with Azerite 2.0 for a year.
The people I personally know who were both loyal subscribers and active players have began feeling fatigue when the overwhelming number of dailies and heavily time gated reputations of Pandaria were dumped on them.
Then came Draenor with the gear forges and the apex crystals and even worse reputation grinds that this time also blocked them from flying. Then came Legion with all the faults of the previous two expansions plus legendary RNG and legendary performance imbalance as the cherry on top of that excrement.
Now in BFA a lot of them only subscribe for a new patch then disappear again and those who play regularly dropped out of serious raiding and mythic+ because keeping up requires too many daily chores and the earned gear is reset so quickly it feels pointless to even try for anything above catch up welfare loot.
Funnily enough, the game showers you with that loot at every turn but it has never been harder to get into endgame content if you take a break or just progress at a slower pace than the majority interested in this content.
I get the feeling that Blizzard is increasingly catering to the people they themselves have burned out over the years and so of course they don’t care how unbalanced all this is when the majority of their players are giving increasingly less of a sh*t about their performance and just pick whatever they think is cool. What would it matter to them? They’ll get their purples and cosmetics and are happy with that.

He literally said that they didn’t work on any live balance at all since 2 patches ???
Game is freaking broken and they only have apparently 2 people working on fixing essence system (good job btw…NOT) and we are left we completely unbalanced garbage with several specs completely in the dumpster.
How is it ok that they know everything is unbalanced and saying just leave with lel the idiots pay anyways

Why do you people continue to make stuff up? He never said that. He explained very well why this happened. All the resources went into changing the whole azerite system, because of feedback during beta. There wasn’t time to change it during it. He not once said they were ok with it or that it was ok, he simply gave an explanation for this whole mess.
Is 40 button keybinds within reach of wasd not enough for you? Do you need more?
No i am fine with pruning and making it slightly easier for us who struggle a bit trying to move and keep pressing abilities at the same time. My mouse only has 5 buttons as well.
Dont understand how people with 19 button mice can even move and press those buttons at the same time. Some of those interfere with my ability to move
