Soulbound professional recipes

Why is this soulbound? What value or fun is this providing?

3. Oh, I am not an engineer, np, I have an engineer in my warband
4. Oh, its soul bound
5. Will I delete my jewlcrafting that has 15+ years of accumulated recipes for this one. . . erm no
6. Other options… Destroy/Sell

Yeah, they should just be learnable by any character. Only craftable by skilled crafter.
You’re right, there is no fun in recipes that you can’t use or trade to someone who can use it.

I would like to see the recipes Warbound instead.

This keeps the item off the AH and give people more options to gain the fun element of such a find.

I think I got this from a random world drop or possibly a treasure.

Just looked it up on wowhead, looks like I am not the only one with this opinion.

I wasn’t disagreeing. I would very much like it if they replaced BoP with Warband-bound. Everything that is BoP should be warband, then once you equip/use it becomes soulbound. That way the AH don’t get flooded with things that couldn’t be on the AH in the first place, but you still get something from looting something you couldn’t use on the char you were playing
