Back when they were introduced at blizzcon, before shadowlands was released… they were not just blue transparent animal forms, but shown as normal animals of the wilds on their panel. Why don’t we have that?
I guess it went through a second iteration. Probably to make the spell feel cohesive with all of the soulshapes. Not really sure. But I do like the blue spritely look more than the normal skins of the creatures
If they were just normal animal shapes it wouldn’t be very “souly” so I guess thats why they went for the blue glow instead. I do quite like it but they can’t please everyone.
Pretty sure it would be confusing also having some bm’s in your teams + the animals ^^ .
Just make yourself tameable too!
Well. For starters to not have the soulshapes be mistaken for druid transformations.
Second is that it fits the thematic scene of Ardenweald and it’s denizens.
