Anyone else annoyed by the way targeting for soulstone works?
It lets you finish whole cast and then tells you “wrong target”.
Why cant it works like every other spell, either telling you to change target and blocking casts directly or auto self cast if you have enemy in target …
Yeah I get this problem when travelling between Zandalar and Kul Tiras. It seems the targeting is still on the NPC you spoke to. I just always make sure I click on myself before using it now.
Used to be autotarget self when no target it targeted before.
So many times I casted soulstone when I knew I was going to die only to find out that it didn’t cast. It’s annoying.
I had to make a macro to mitigate this issue:

/cast [help]Soulstone;[@player]SoulstoneYes macros are very helpful, I had to make it (well I have it for long time anyway)…
I just dont really understand why it doesnt work like every other spell, your water buff “works as intended” so why not your other buff …
Its just small thing anyway, it was rather rant post because I just died (didnt have macro ready because WoW decided to reset all my action bars 
)
