Sound effect bug

I did the world PvP quest in Azj-Kahet, the one in the goblin city with the big tesla coils. They have a sound effect and your character spreads sparks if you come near them.

I completed the quest, i am in another continent, with warmode off and i still have the sound effect in an endless loop even after /reload, relog, retarting the game.

Please help anybody. After the yawning dwarfs and the yak NPCs this is a whole new level of unbearable sound.

Deactivating the sound effects is not a solution. Even /rl does nothing.

Edit: if another poor soul encounters this, killing your character will fix it.

Have you filled out a bug report ingame?

That is indeed a bug that could drive me insane, if I didn’t know that just off’ing your character would have fixed it.

I had this problem too, I went back to that place and had someone kill me, it fixed the tesla sound bug.
