After seeing the Fallen Charger get a increase drop chance for the mount i think it would be for the best to see Soundless have it drop chances increased which is currently estimated to be around 0.5% or you could have the spawntime nerfed to 1 hour instead of 2-8 hours. The zones have mostly become empty and if someone isn’t there the zone can reset after 15min if none has entered it. Which makes farming for the Silent Glider mount even harder for everyone. After having more than +1k kill on Soundless it finally dropped for me some months ago. It almost destroyed my enjoyment for the game and i don’t want to see that pain for anyone else. So plz make some good changes to Soundless.
I preferred the old system for Fallen Charger where you were free to farm it as many times a day as you wanted to. I imagine other people hated it.
You would have thought if it was such an issue they’d update all these types of mount drops.

Might be nice if they’d go back to the Netherwing/Cloud Serpent days, where you earned a choice of mounts - but you only get one. If you want another, you need a 2nd character.
I’m all for “meaningful choice” about visuals, I think it’s interesting to know you can only ever pick one. (Admittedly I did get myself 3 cloud serpents with 3 different alts.)
Yes but Soundless is in another league of it’s own. Fallen Charger was fairly easy to farm. Voidtalon and Soundless should definitely be changed. I don’t see any other problems with the other mounts since they are mostly 100% drop chances. Perhaps a slight boost in drop rate to the Rustfeather and Arachnoid mounts?

Houlon on the Timeless Isle was (is?) like that. I remember farming that stupid dragon day in and day out, afraid of moving too far away from its spawnpoint because I “couldn’t risk missing a kill”. With one daily chance, it makes the obsession a little less. Especially if you don’t have an army of alts.
I am not like that anymore, I get my kill in if the charger happen to spawn while I am in the zone, but I can imagine some people still farm stuff like this as much as they can.
I suffered Soundless too, 30 characters a day.
Never even seen a voidtalon portal in all my years of playing. Friends have seen them. I’ve never even had a near miss.

Iirc, in FF14 old mounts had their drop rates upped… so the “exclusivity” of mounts were pretty much for current content.
Be nice had WoW adopted that idea… I don’t envy any new player to WoW that decides to become collectors, beyond overwhelming in farming the countless horribly low drop rates of everything.

yea i considered taking up farming mounts in wow, im not a new player ofc …
but the reality of how time consuming that is stopped me even attempting it.
decided i was better off not playing and spending that time hopefully in something more worthwhile …
but alas here i am on the forums… rip lol
Eh, stopped playing WoW since March… busy playing Witcher 3 on and off… spending waaaaay too much time exploring and doing side quests instead of progressing the main story. 
witcher 3 is a good game i really enjoyed it when i played through it , harder the difficulty the better though 
I’m one of those people that would rather just enjoy the story and the journey and play easy mode.
My favorite part of Soundless was when i tamed it. 
I never quite understood why blizz trolls the playerbase like this. Repeatedly the have made mount dropping bosses tameable. Like why.

They made tameable rares that don’t drop anything killable as well.
I’m not really sure what your point is.
My point is that Blizzard pits two types of collectors against each other. It’s always going to cause issues.

That was my point. 
If there was another mob with the same look then i wouldn’t even think of taming Soundless but that’s not the case. Soundless is the only one with that look unfortunately.

If 1k kills seems a lot to you, never try to farm old world boss mounts or love rocket… i have 2-3k+ kills on each of that thing and have only one mount to show for and yes i gave up, i dont actively farm them any more, gave up years ago.
