Apart from this brawl having a 20+ minutes queue for me I’m wondering whether I’m actually fighting real Horde players here or NPCs like in the Comp Stomp?
So far I’ve won every single match. And not just by a small margin, I mean literally pushing the horde back to their graveyard and keeping them there, ending the game somewhat 150 to <10… every single match so far.
Are they just worse? Or is this AI?

There are non-stop Alliance premades running this brawl, so I’m guessing you’re either playing with them, or you are getting into their groups.

I queue all my BGs solo and the wait time is now up to 30 minutes already.
On the first BG I thought ‘damn we’re doing pretty good’. After the 4th one I started to wonder what is actually happening.
The honor reward is almost not worth the time waiting in the queue but for getting HKs it’s crazy.
Game ended after just 4 mins with 1 alliance death. Been like this all evening.

It may as well be - what you’re joining are premades, usually 20 or so strong, that are all full geared with a prebuilt comp so that they can simply press the W key and do PvE rotation and win.
What you’re facing are regular people trying to have fun, but a prerequisite to playing epic BGs in Dragonflight is you must break the ToS by using third party tools to queue as a 20+ man premade, or you just lose.
As an example, I queued up for this mode earlier on my resto shaman - i was the only healer in the entire BG on horde side. Alliance side had a premade with 8 healers in it. Game ended in under 5 minutes.
You can work towards fixing this problem and getting better quality BGs by remembering to report every premade leader you spot for cheating and gameplay sabotage.

Discord. The whole epic BG premade scene ceases to exist if they can’t coordinate via third party tools. As far as I’m aware its against the ToS to use third party tools to circumvent rules put in place by Blizzard - the rule here being, you can’t queue as more than 5 to a bg.
But we could do exactly the same with Battlenet chat voice. Discord doesn’t count as 3° program.

They generally only ban people that organise these things, or egregiously abuse them.
As an example - farming people in Darkshore at the start of BFA isn’t bannable - i gained 5 honour levels doing that before I got bored and left. But many people who farmed 500+ levels from it got their honour levels reverted and the worst offenders got banned for 3 days for doing it.
If all you’re doing is joining premades as a warm body every now and then you’ll probably not get banned - but if you’re organising them daily, many hours per day, on third party tools, with 20+ other people, yeah, you should absolutely get banned for 6 months like they did to botters in WoD.
