Sp dots need a dispel protection buff/update

I’m down to have counterplay like anything else but this is ridiculous to work on getting your cast of to dots people then see everything disappear with no effort with :
-pal aoe dispel
-priest md/2x dispel
-hunter feign death
-monk revival (useable in cc)

It’s so unfair and disgusting especially that instant are gone and most of these dispel are on low cd and you already have to go through so much crap to get a cast.

You’re playing a priest yourself.

So why do you then say:

Mass dispel costs 20k mana for a healer priest.

That’s 8% of the mana pool, in an environment where your mana is an extremely limited resource. If a priest healer keeps mass dispelling your dots, they’re going to lose the fight due to mana.

You are doing something wrong man, I have seen Shadow priest doing perma 60k dps non stop.

If so, then you’re the one doing something wrong then. An SP will not do that kind of damage, “nonstop”, if your team doesn’t let them free cast and don’t dispel their dots.

VT needs a damage component added to its dispel protection

DP needs a dispel protection as well, since it’s our only spender and it can no longer be instantly applied regardless of insanity

Do you never consider, that maybe you’re the one that’s doing something wrong, if multi glads and R1s tell you otherwise?

If I’m doing “perma 60K dps non stop” in an arena, I’m defenitely not doing something wrong - the opposing team is. Anyone who has a minimum understanding of how SP works knows SPs will not be outputing that kind of damage unless left alone in complete free cast and with its dots undispelled.

With all due respect, you were complaining when Spri was considered S tier in shuffle and arenas last season too, so I’m not sure that arguement is in your favor.

Is the guy over exaggerating? Probably a bit, but y’all are making spri seem worse than it is too.

Nobody’s making sp worse than it seems.
SP is in a solid spot, but still has functional problems which need to be addressed.

damage is damn fine. but our dots can be removed to ez and since VT is a cast its frustrating to have to recast and se a healer far in the back dispel for a free dr and nothing else… VT should heal the sp for 10k if dispelled and dp should do its damage all at once if dispelled…

MD + double dispel is way too op, same as hpal aoe dispel.

Idk but when you can remove a spec from the game just by default is disgusting there isn’t any l2p issue when everything get insta dispel on CD.

Only thing I face atm is priest/hpal/monk rarely anything else BTW, and a lot of hunter it’s really frustrating.

Mass dispel absolutely destroys your mana. You’ll be running them oom if they keep mass dispelling.

Not really as you do 0 dmg and people will die before the disc oom before disc was running oom fast but no longer.

Sure in 3s it’s a different story probably but in shuffle with damp kicking fast if you can’t get cd fast then you lose passively.

Anyway like I said, I’m fine having to put the work to cast and get my dmg of but not tryhard with billion crap like grounding /reflect multiple kick etc to finally get dmg of and see it insta dissappear that’s just non sense.

Other spec can already hit 150-200k in 1 global why should I spend 10sec to only put my dots and finally have the windows to start doing dmg then seeing it disappear endlessly?

You know that disc isn’t the only healing spec for priests, yeah?
