Why is there a toy, that anyone can get easily, that allows people to bypass stealth?
They do some sort of weird trick where they use the sp-eye glass, then this allows them to target you regardless of if they’re looking at you. As long as you’re in range, they can now see past your stealth. Even if you’re behind them.
Example of where this was used on me:
I’m in solar at Ashran; we’re outnumbered. I decide i’ll live another day and try to ninja steal solar back at an opportune moment.
But wait… No. They have a toy that bypasses stealth. So now, they can see exactly where i am in the room.
This means if you even give them a hint there is a rogue present, goodbye stealth. Or maybe they’ll just use it at random to check. All i know is; i’ve been cheated out of stealth by this toy so many times now, whether it be in world PVP or BGs, and i’m just tired of it.
This has been in the game since Legion btw; all they did was make it so it doesn’t work in rated… Because of course, world PVP is for some reason lesser in an MMO, where it should literally be the focus.
I am convinced Blizzard hate stealth; in particular rogues, who are built around it, and often depend heavily on it (don’t believe me? Try playing rogue in a BG without stealth, see how long you survive).
