Will there be sparkling quest items and herb/veins sparkle with the new patch?
I don’t remember there being no sparkly objects when I started playing in the days during TBC, but I do remember lvl 30 mounts being at the end of the expansion. So I assumed it would already be there. But hopefully next patch? I haven’t seen it on the PTR yet. Does anyone know?
Sparkling good. Easy to see stuff.

It’s bad enough that they erroneoulsly have added those small carets to the ressource dots, that’s a way newer thing abnd a huge pita!
You know it’s not supposed to BE easy? It’s supposed to be fun
Yeah, it’s really fun to see an herb on your minimap, but you can’t spot it on the ground and then suddenly someone else grabs it.
Anyways, when it comes to the new patch, I think there’s still an option to disable it if you think that’s more fun.
It’s not coming.
I’ve been trying to remember when we got it and I think it was WoD. I could be wrong.
I might be thinking about the outline.
Oh relax you’ll get your sparkels. All “quality” of life AKA making things ridiculously easy will be added. Sparkles were Zul’Aman patch. I’m off to the Classic era servers
Put “Ground clutter” to min value in Video settings. Some herbs are literally invisible with high clutter values. As someone said above, the highlighted nodes should come in Phase 5, but who knows with current year Blizzard.

oh my ****ing god.
im off. i can’t take this anymore tonight.
OP is like the turd you step on when you exit your house thinking “today will be a good day”.
i can’t. no.
**** off.
It was not a WoD thing. The sparkling items were there when I started playing back in the days during TBC. However, the outline glow came later.

Defeating insane difficulty raiding bosses? Fun.
Dueling against highly-skilled players? Fun.
Obtaining super rare mounts with extremely low drop chances? Fun.
Slowly gathering items to form raiding or pvp sets? Fun.
Having to be 20 centimeters away from screen to see herb? Because herb blends in with grass? Not fun.
There’s no need to insult me. Instead, explain why you get so upset when I ask when we’re going to see something that was part of TBC.
If you believe this is not true, then you either haven’t played TBC back in the days, or you have a very bad memory.
Agree
agree.
Finding gear, be it for raiding or for RP or whatever = fun.
Duelling other players, being killed, doing corpse runs = not fun! That’s why I go PvE.
Solving riddles to find Quest objectives and not having them pushed into my nose = fun.
This just to show that people’s definition of fun differs, and I would like you to have your sparkles, if I have the option to say “No thanks”.
And that is the core problem with these “Quality” of life changes. You can NOT disable them. Sigh
I stopped playing for a time just before MOP and we had sparkling nodes then.
I’m guessing it may have been introduced in Cata.
lol, yeah, that is pretty funny xD
You could just check the PTR. Regardless, who knows. It was introduced in TBC originally, but the quest items are already salient (as compared to vanilla.)
Quality of life always means Easy mode = Sad Tauren.
Quality of life not make easy. Quality of like make better.
Huge difference between challenge and chore.
Quality of life help game more smooth so players focus on actual challenges not deal with inconveniences like not seeing particles on the screen.

That’s your point of view. I see it differently.
