Does no one do this any more? Been trying to do this quest for 3 days, also there’s hardly any dailies, whats up with that? Only 1 pvp daily in 3 days, and like a couple of normal dailies.
Also battle pet dailies are not giving sparks.
Either purchase a shovel from the vendor in south Waking Shore outside the tent with the Dragonscale Expedition quartermaster (has 5 uses) or issue a crafting order to a blacksmith for a shovel with 20 charges (make sure you provide the materials!). Then you will also see Disturbed Dirts alongside Expedition Scout Packs which give 5 sparks each.
Leaving this quest for Tuesday is not recommended though, do one round in the zone before the reset at Saturday afternoon, then another after and you’re set.
Do I need to rep farm to use the shovel I can buy with crafting order or is that available to anyone (fresh characters?).
Also, sounds like you’re saying that I probably cant do it before reset? I have 45 sparks, my understanding is each dirt gives 5, so I need to dig 11 dirts
This one requires Renown 5 with Dragonscale Expedition
This one you can just go buy of the AH .You can also work order it , but honestly it is the same cost or more .
Also as the guy said you may also do the daily in 2 parts . First part between Wednesday and Saturday and Second part after Saturday , as this way you can get two sets of daily quests .
Also the PvP daily resets Daily and has a chance to spawn in the current zone , so there is a chance you will get about 3 each week . If it is the Caverns or the Dream , there is 1 available all the time .
For the Forbidden Shore , pick up the blue quests from NPC at the starting area . These too give sparks . It is the easiest to do .
And of course there’s the Air ship drops .
That zone got to many dirt piles atleast on last day before reset, i take them often for gold.
You only need a low renown for the shovel from the NPC near the Dragonscale Expedition quartermaster. The one from the crafting is usable by anyone.
You can do it even within the last hour, but it’ll be hard flying around the zone looking for Disturbed Dirts and Expedition Scout Packs, especially if other players also look for them. Rare enemies can also drop them but the efficiency is not good if you are not able to solo them consistently.
