Who made this? Why this people keep getting game design jobs?
The quest provokes playing in groups, it’s then becomes gang wars, zero chance you can solo it, unless you ress-zerg, but… (number two)
You can ress-zerg it, but so far I’ve only seen one GY with a resser - in centaur lands (sorry, naming in this expansion is another pain). Other places, like the Flayscale camp in shores have you ported to a regular GY and then after a few death you can enjoy your 2+ min ressurection timer and consider your life choices while pointlessly waiting to ressurect on a corpse only to die again to another gang of players, maybe hit some1 in the process and get +1 spark of life. lol
I get that you like money, but not everybody wants to transfer to the next populated server every year, my shaman is on a server that was very much alive in WotlK (yes, I also play since vanilla) but now is a ghost town. And for some reason the cross-realm zoning or w/e is at play there does group this server only with the other also dead servers, hence, the zone where I’m supposed to farm the sparks is only filled with NPCs that, oh god forbid, don’t drop any “sparks”.
Issue with sparks-farming groups is covered by many posts in this forum already, so just read em up (if you’re a dev lol). Main problems are: leeching, incompetence, bad design of this whole thing.
25-kills was bad enough, but at least it was more like a 5-man hunting party. it WAS fun. but Blizz hates when you have fun, they vacuum it out of everything that players start to enjoy.
P.S. I get that no one serious reads this, but if there’s a chance to get heard - OMG, at least add freaking resser-type GYs to these zones. It’s a grindfest however you look at it, stop punishing players that don’t have whole week to solve your company’s riddles why you had to hire yet another incompetent game designer. We play this game long since YOUR problems started, moreover I think there’s like 10% of people who actually created World of Warcraft are still working on it, so stop ruining the game that YOU didn’t make.
im on god forsaken realm connected with Argent down where you literally cannot play warmode on horde, its 1:30 ratio or even more, i had super hard time getting these sparks but my friend told me easiest way of getting them all in just 5-10min of playing, purchase shovel from expedition, fly around the area where sparks quest is and dig every hole D: enjoy completing quest within few min, no need to pvp. btw you get sparks also by completing world quest.
You do realise that is not the way you complete the sparks quest? At renown 5 with expedition, you get the shovel for digging.
Dig up 20 dirt / pick up 20 satchels. ( With warmode ON of course)
They spawn plenty, you should finish in 15 minutes, and you have a whole week.
I already explained this to more people on the forums with the exact same complain.
People are complaining about the most absurd things without reading any posts or researching a hit, or asking friends/guildies about stuff.
Algethar academy has resser too. 30 sec wait time max. Actually I think all places where there’s world pvp quest for killing enemies has resser right there. At first I was happy about such quests for promoting world pvp, but yeah, these turned into a huge ZERG. I’m not complaining though. Just get an aoe spell and get it done in 10 min.
OP is right thought, Argent Dawn is a special case. Alliance completely outnumber the Horde and they also get the WM bonus. It’s been this way since BFA and is a total joke.
bro are u this bad at the game? spark quest is literally free 421 pvp gear (good for alts), the quest barely takes 10 minutes? doesn’t require a group at all?
i do this on all 7 chars who aren’t even geared, ofcourse i’m getting killed quite often but i still manage to complete the quest in 10-20mins, tagging people and having braincells
