SPEC FREE Legion Artifact Transmog in Shadowlands!

Please allow us to transmog legion artifact weapons spec free! It’s been 4 years since legion came out. And now, as I see Blizz giving my druid option to have both blue cat from mage tower and blue bear from Suramar at the same time AND in my resto spec, I also suggest we get rid of those outdated/redundant restrictions for all classes! I am not asking for giving warriors ashbringer transmog, or giving mages xalatath, but PLEASE. Can I use my Light’s Wrath on shadow spec? Is it lore breaking or something? Light’s Wrath specifically has purple “Eternal Vigil” appearance literally screaming shadow! And i know most of the artifacts have a wide variety of colors to choose. But when i change the spec, my transmog dissapears! It’s the same character, after all, and i consider him earning all three of the artifacts canon. So in light of all the customisation options we’ve got so far on alpha (even separate shoulder transmog and blue eyes for belfs!), I would ask to add this one as well. Please, I’ve been dreaming about this for years now! It’s now or never!
I’m russian, so excuse me, if my english is not very good. I wanted to push this idea so bad, i had to try.

This is a slippery slope that will lead to ridiculous transmogs if done incorrectly. For druids it makes sense since they’re able to use multiple different forms. It doesn’t make sense for an enhancement shaman to be using the restoration artifact, though. I think spec restrictions should be removed on a case-by-case basis.

So it’s normal to use Twilight’s Hammer, Shadowmourne or hundreds of weapons for any classes, that can wear them, but not the havoc DH warglaives for vengeance DH for example? And yet both specs can wear Azzinoth Warglaives. Come on! I am playing void elf disc priest, using purple warlock lookalike set from Antorus normal. Symbolizing the union of light and shadow in one body. Why cant i use the dark tint for Light’s Wrath while playing shadow spec, but i can wear any other arcane, fel, death, light, shadow or nature-themed staff in the game? It does not make sense, in my opinion

I believe Blizzard is holding back because of the nature of the weapons, meaning they’re named weapons that exist in the lore. Some random staff you get from killing 5 boars isn’t exactly comparable.

Don’t get me wrong, I would be fine with removing the restrictions between some specs, but I would not like to see class restrictions removed. As long as nothing ridiculous happens, I’m fine with it. I don’t see the harm anyhow, but I understand why Blizzard is holding back. That’s all.

Well, i can agree on that. I’m okay with class restrictions intact, but not the spec ones. This is too much. I really hope someone can bring this to the Shadowlands team. I bet fixing this issue will not be harder, than adding all of the druid customization to the barbershop
You can check my priest transmog btw, to see what am i talking about
