Spell interrupt design

Hello guys, I suggest rework the spell interrupt mechanics:

If enemy target has health above 70% the interrupts duration is 6 sec,
if health bar is betwen 35-70% the interrupts duration is 4.5 sec,
if hp are below 35% the interrupts duration is 3 sec.

If you’ll fake, you will get Precognition, haste, and CC immune for 4 sec, fair?

Actually 3 sec is nothing then you need to interrupt another cyclone, fear or poly and it would be great if interrupts would affect all spell schools, regardless of the one you interrupted, because now the state of interruptions makes owls, destro locks and mages laugh in your face and maybe healers except for critical situations.

And of course need to add dimininshing returns on kicks too.

Fixed it for you, i’m so tired of pressing every single stun and stops i have before my interrupt in fear of not giving precog, it’s toxic gameplay for both me and the caster vs me.

No… the current shorter kick meta is good for the game. When I play melee I don’t have to care about nothing… with big uptime and ranged attacks. Rangeds are constantly micro CCd… precog is good. And frankly, most classes can eat kicks anyway with bait spells. E.g. when I mage, every noob kicks ring of fire for some reason :stuck_out_tongue:

Idea: remove cd and GCD from interrupt and add it as effect to every offensive ability so now (censored so now salty melee subplayers can’t report me) can have 100% uptime instead of pressing it on cd also buff warriorsdksdhsenchferal or whatever disability you are getting social money from

I feel you because I have precog fear as well…but tbh I kinda like the idea of casters getting something in return when they are able to fakeout cast. It gives them another skill cap possibility. Maybe this one is too strong, but I still like the idea tbh

Reward them for what?

Most casters have like 3 schools of magic they can cast even if you lock one, precog is just plain broken and it shouldn’t be in the game.

Complaining about getting outplayed on the simplest mechanic in the entire game is, well, quite literally, a skill issue.

The Cyclone - Precog interaction tho… that needs to be addressed, way too toxic.

It’s okay if a Healer fakes for precog to be able to heal. Or like a caster that wants to do dmg.

But Moonkins literally existing in a game to swap Cyclones is kinda disgusting.

CC should just be a small bonus in arenas.
For example Rogues can chain CC you for 70% of the arena match.
Just let people play and enjoy arenas without CC chains.

thats why precog was introduced in the first place
i still have horrors of fighting resto shaman tsg in bfa with reflect/ground/grip/petstun/capacitor/asphyxiate/hex/shear/pummel/mind freeze/stormbolt/fear all on me
