Spell lock should be baseline

Spell lock should be baseline for the class and not a pet ability, and blizzard actually did this in dragonflight or war within beta, where warlocks could do something normally without a gimmick like everyone else, imagine that.

we’re giving up a lot by being forced to choose felhunter in every situation, a charm, a taunt, and a dispel.

  • In mythic plus, it’s mandatory to play your felhunter because having an interrupt is not an option in 2024.
  • In PvP, it’s basically the same thing except for maybe when you’re against something like two warriors in 2v2.
  • In tier 11 delves, and even in tier 8, you need to interrupt web bolt or you’re dead, and you can’t use your voidwalker to tank for you, I was forced to play demonology in this case because felguard can do both tank and interrupt, and that’s been in the game for a while, it’s not op, also hunters could do that for a long time, warlock can’t.

With felhunter being the only way warlock can interrupt, it’s too op and too good not to choose compared to the others, I think doing this change would actually balance the demons and make the choice more interesting, while also allowing us to use our imp dispel or sayaad’s charm.

Also blizzard are you going to make more warlock demon skins or is that just going to be left in the dust?

I am a strong advocate for this QoL change! People moaned about it back in Dragonflight and used a very specific, niche situation as a reason why we shouldn’t have it (I.e. Council fights).

Additionally, the other excuse is we can still cast whilst interrupting. I’m sorry, but when our casts are interrupted due to movement and others can cast whilst on the move (another issue) it’s a moot point.

Bring back the ‘Call Felhunter’ talent for both PVE and PVP.

Blizzard are really missing out with our demons. Allow us to customise them more. We have our core demons and just like character customisation we should be able to do this with our demons. I would like to use my Imp, Voidwalker, and Succubus more. We have our own dispel for crying out loud!

I’d like the return of “Grimoire: Felhunter” (It was a thing once, but i don’t remember in which expansion), it summoned a Felhunter that showed up, interrupted whatever the target was casting, then went away again, which is very in flavour for Warlocks.
