I just started retail again after a while not playing and have spent my Artisan Acuity on knowledge points but have now learnt I should have spend it on improving my proffession gear.
As far as I can see I can only get small amounts of Artisan Acuity from first crafts, am I pretty much screwed now or am I missing a way to get more of this resource?
Complete NPC crafting orders that reward Acuity or Knowledge Points.
Thanks yeah I’ve been doing that too, got 25 artisan acuity from them today but at this rate its gonna take weeks to farm enough to craft the highest proffesion gear
Depends a bit on the profession. Catch-up with enchanting is really easy and not tied to filling orders. Acuity is the same for all professions, so if you have enchanting, you can use them for your other profession.
I think Inscription has the worst catch-up orders of the professions I have. The materials are very expensive and the orders rarely have anything decent included.
Ah ok my character is Jewelcrafting and Mining, so I’m trying my best to accumulate acuity but it is slow
Mining is the best option. After you get the weekly 5 blue and 1 purple drops you will start getting the catch-up drops from mining nodes. They give accuity when ‘using’ them.
Dont forget to do the weekly mining quest otherwise the catch-ups wont drop.

I didn’'t realise this thank you!
I mean both KP and prof tools help you in the same way, just that prof tools is the better purchase with artisans acuity.
Atleast you didnt waste it all on those 600 acuity reagent bags, then you would have wasted them completely.
In order to catchup you can complete work orders, just be selective, the epic work orders are often not worth it. You could if you have a prof slot open learn a new proffession and level it and do the first time crafts for fast acuity. That should get you a generous amount really fast.
