Spirit of redemption always female

When holy priest dies, he turns into female spirit of redemption. Why is that?
We got Incubus as an option for Succubus, so why this isnt acknowledged too?
I dont want to turn female when i die.

Geeezus.

I don’t want my female Blood Elf to turn into a cropse when I die. Instead, I want to hatch as a newborn Male Tauren with Female Orc Chest and Male Troll Tusks in place for Tauren Horns. Also I want this new character being labeled as Gender: Amalgam.

Why hasn’t been Amalgam Gender acknowledged yet? Blizzard?

Because all of them are female. You are turned in to a Spirit Healer (or if a spirit healer comes and aid your allies) and there are no males that are Spirit Healers as far as i know.

Google Spirit Healer or Kyrian.

EDIT:
" Spirit Healers are true kyrian called Watchers whose role is to eternally evaluate souls. If the Watchers deem the soul ready, they will call forth a kyrian Bearer to come and bring their soul to the Shadowlands. If they aren’t ready, the Watchers return them to life."

My point here is, that if there is changes because of genders, like Incubus, or in retail they make body type 1 and 2, why all of them arent included?

I want to choose my bodytype for my Spirit of redemption, if i cant, its not inclusive.

But the spirit is not you.

I cant see any confirmation that they are always female in any of the text or in that quote you made.

Why do you instantly think that spirit healer is female ? Just because of the long hair ?

Your character has literally painted nails, does it mean you are female too ?

Thats pretty insensitive honestly, you should go to the corner and think about your social behaviour …

You turn into a Kyrian race which has no male represantives. It’s a female-exclusive race like Amazons in mythology.

Because it has bodytype 1 with bobs and hips.

Don’t put a point into the talent and problem solved. You won’t turn into a female upon death anymore.

This is not true, even in the picture there are 2 different bodytypes, so not all are female.

wiki/Kyrian

This is same as saying to warlocks that they shouldnt get Succubus or Incubus pets.
I want a choice, its different than “not choice at all”.

All comes to the changes of the genders blizzard has made. Why are some changes done, but not others?

Do you assume secondary sexual characteristics make you a female, you absolute bigot?! Sensitivity camp for you, chud. Hard labour will make you tolerant again!

Followed Your advice and googled “Spirit Healer” and “Kyrian”.
https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Spirit_Healer
https://wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Kyrian
Wowpedia gave me a number of different spirit healers, including one with a deep sea murloc model. The same site gave me male and female Kyrian Aspirant and Ascended models.

Also, do note that according to talent description the priest does not become a Kyrina or Spirit Healer - he/she becomes the Spirit of Redemption, who happens to have the ingame model of a most common spirit healer.

Asking for a “type 2 body” for Spirit of Redemption doesn’t seem unreasonable.

Edit for typos.

The best answer is #NoChanges.
Experinment with body model 1, 2 … ∞ in Retail all you like, Put in / remove people and abilities there too, Cklassic is supposed to be a re-iteration, so hands off, please.

I just want to point out that you’re a Blood Elf.

Just think of it like being a drag artist.

Did you just assume the Spirit of Redemption’s gender?

Took long enough before the absurdities started.
Now the OP ia hopefully trolling because it would be a grave mistake to make this claim and assume the spirit healer is a female when there is absolutely no such description for it (just because bobs doesn’t mean female).

“I wrote this in the randomest of subforum because I’m totally not upset about it”

Agreed. IMO they should remove the form all together at this point. It should be optional or it should be removed/replaced. its simply not inclusive as it currently is.
