It only works when spitting on the ground, I can’t /spit on players or npcs?
u can only spit on ground yes
u can /fart and /pjuke on other players
Seriously? When did this happen? It’s the most pathetic thing I’ve ever heard of.
When it became the standard greeting for anyone running around on a certain mount in Classic that was included in a level boost purchase.
I almost regret resubbing now. This is literally the worst bs i’ve read today.
The day is young, so there is hope!
Is crying about not being able to spit on people chad behaviour? Might just be me but resubbing and then crying that you can’t emote hocking some phlegm onto someone sounds pretty tragic.
After the whole walkout last year, and the lawsuit.
they removed a lot of emotes that could be considered offensive that could target other players.
Oh and also people used it against players with a classic preorder mount or something.
I’m fine with it being diasbled against players. But they also disabled it for NPC’s
oh look its a fake outrage topic … that’s almost as rare as the gender ones … the eu forums is so boring i wish you guys was more like the NA forum
The /spit thing has been in for about 2 years, people were spitting on people for buying the TBC mount which ruined the integrity of the game at the time where people were still treating it as sacred, Blizzard removed spit on players as a result. Now the floodgates have opened and people don’t care about changes/mounts in Classic as much, it’s too far gone now.
If you do /e and type it in you can spit on everyone around you at the same time, or just emote their name. That’s typically what people do now, they just emote it manually.
walk up to a player
target the player
type in
/e spit
it will say that u spited on the person
To be honest, it’s still funny that this worked and that’s why Blizzard ended up removing /spit.
If adult human being gets upset for getting text emote spitted in virtual game maybe they should stay away from the internet. And real life aswell… These same clueless oversensitive softies are ruining entertainment industry across the globe.
i have heard u can get banned from sitting on a other player and pressing X key
It’s funny how an ancient and iconic emote that had been around from the very birth of this game suddenly became problematic when it was used to target Blizzard’s precious store mounts.
Anyone that still doubt that Blizzard cares about nothing else than milking their playerbase for money should think back on this.
/target Blizzard
/spit
Welcome to world of wokecraft
During times when Body type2 in-game pictures were changed to the bowl of fruits
It was removed. People seem to replace it with /laugh.
I’m more surprised by the fact that people notice. Do you guys use emotes that often and even have them show in your chat?
