After running all of HC and all of lfr and 8 dungeons I havnt had the second half of my spark drop yet others ive talked to all have it from only 1 or 2 kills. Is there something i am missing? A quest perhaps? Help appreciated, cheers
Did you maybe get forgot the Weekly Quest that rewards you with the First Half, and only gotten the second one from Raid/Dungeon?

nah i did the weekly already and got the half spark that way. second half still eludes me
