Seems fine to me.
I am super glad it’s new stuff and not a retread of old zones.
See something like this, a Light v Void expansion, was my guess. I am interested to see what else they come up with.
If it’s a new continent, I hope it won’t be a fully explorable island. Like, I would be fine if we’d start with only 4 zones, but with more to be discovered, having some sort of invisible wall telling us we cannot go forward yet, leaving that open for future expansions or whatever.
Yeah, it’s marketing.
Any additional leaks?
Not that I know of, but I guess we’ll see directly at blizzcon now
I think that a 'dwarf" expansion is a pretty small scope no offense.
There has to be much more than just that.
True, making an expansion about dwarves alone would be a… tall order.
Lame jokes aside, there isn’t much dwarf lore, they were titan constructs that got affected by the curse of flesh, and that’s about it.
So we’ll have other dwarves, who were also titan constructs, and… what’s the “hook”? What would make them interesting?
A titan expansion is much bigger in theme.
Why people talk about dwarfs when “leak” states: once unwavering goliaths
but then how they going to get those bait clicks ? I strongly agree though. Datamining and spoilers is actually ruining the game. They should just revert back to the old way of doing things. Tell us about new things that may come without actually telling us. More importantly enough of the fully story printed out long before the Expansions/patch has hit and enough with the datamined cut scenes. These should be new and surprising for the player.
Honestly, I agree. But I can’t help myself not to read those things when they come out, even if I know it will ruin my experience. Sometimes I manage to stay away from them, but most of the times I don’t.
It’s the end of the season, there is no news about retail (Except what’s coming to the trading post on Wednesday), so data-mined stuff is all the news there is right now.
If you really don’t want spoilers, don’t visit a site that’s a database of everything WoW-related during data-mining season, i mean, you can’t lay the responsibility for that down at the feet of WoWhead.
“Ruining the game” is also a bit theatrical, the fun of a game is in playing, the story is mostly backdrop.
Looks real. And really boring.
I wait fro Friday. No virtual tickets means every stream is for free this time.
Kul Tirans are colonizers who genocided the Drust. Trolls are mesoamerican. Only Darkspear are Jamaican since they abandoned all civlized manners.
We don’T need another alliance themed expansion.
The problem is that you dont have to visit wowhead to get exposed to wowheads spoilers, because once wowhead posts them, they spread across the internet like wildfire, and thanks to googles search algorithm, if you as much as search the word “wow”, you will get suggested/promoted posts thrown at you on just about any media platform, and even if you arent clicking the posts, you cant avoid headlines and video thumbnails ect.
Any additional leaks? tomorrow is reveal, real leak should to appear.
Cutting it fine here - prob getting announced tomorrow @ Blizzcon
Leak will be announced at Blizzcon?
