The camel is cool, but I don’t appreciate flavor-of-the-expansion races that won’t be relevant ever again being made playable races for all eternity (looking at you Pandaren and HM tauren)
Goblins are ruining the economy and taking vital money from Thunderbluff that could be used on making Mulgore great again. We send 350 million gold a week to Orgrimmar so that the Goblins can waste it on pleasure palaces and inventions that are of no benefit to the general Horde populace
We need a referendum, the Tauren people never voted to join the Horde bloc. it’s time to put the choice to the people to seize back control of our nation and economy.
Given that in WC3 the humans had the ability to call in the peasants to go to war from the Town Hall. Therefore are all humans legitimate targets to make sure they don’t raise up arms?
“The charges are as follows: Genocide, Murder. Forcible transfer of population. Enforced disappearance of individuals […] Enslavement. The abduction of children. Torture. The killing of prisoners. Forced pregnancy. The wanton destruction of cities, towns, and villages not justified by military or civilian necessity.”
-War Crimes.
It was for Alexstrasza’s forced pregnancy during the second war, so it wasn’t even “under his watch” since he was on Outland at the time (and a literal child).
It was pretty lols to throw it in there tbh. Sets an interesting precedent of the faction leader being responsible for crimes of their faction before they even take power (because the trial wasn’t about his guilt - his guilt was already confirmed, the trial was for the punishment for the crimes he was already guilty of). And that’s why Anduin is to blame for the mistreatment of the Stonemasons before he was born.
Is the slate now wiped clean after Garrosh was put on trial and deposed by the Vol’jin loyalists? Otherwise imagine Vol’jin ascending to the throne of Warchief and becoming responsible for the crimes that preceded him, including those that he actively rebelled against.
What kind of crappy system is this. Surely the reformation of the Horde by Thrall would have negated all of the crimes that came before him.
In all fairness he’s only being accused of the forced pregnancy part because he crafted an alliance with the Dragonmaw, and the prosecutor (Tyrande) argued to Taran Zhu that he did so a) knowing what the Dragonmaw had done to get their dragons, and more importantly b) that they were still doing it after he invited them in.
From War Crimes page 212:
Tyrande said, “Fa’shua, Garrosh Hellscream received important and influential from one clan in particular - the Dragonmaw clan. I wish to show you the sort of people with whom Garrosh allied himself in recent times.”
“Fa’shua”, Baine interjected, “we all have - most of us have, anyway - kept poor company from time to time. What the Dragonmaw clan did in the past is irrelevant.”
“Chu’shao Bloodhoof’s point is accurate,” said Taran Zhu.
“Yes, but it is not the whole story,” Tyrande replied. “The Dragonmaw enslaved and continue to enslave and torment dragons. They did so under Garrosh’s reign, and I think this witness highly appropriate.”
Taran Zhu nodded, satisfied. “I agree with the Accuser. You may continue your examination.”
The whole gambit from the accuser kind of fails in the end though, because in cross-examination from Baine, Alexstrasza says she’s happy to forgive anyone, even those who tortured her and the dragons. Leading up to that point, Tyrande tries to call for recess in a panic, arguing Alexstrasza is too distraught by the questions to answer honestly.
