The issue with it at the moment, as per a post from that link buried under a billion responsrs. Is a lot of the customisation options haven’t been tethered to models yet, so until blizzard do it then players are gunna have to manually layer it themselves.

I’ve wanted more natural colours for Night Elves for SUCH a long time now! If they get the brown/blonde hair I’ll be so happy.

they already had natural colours… I mean they’re purple, who knows what their natural colors are!
But as that twitterer said: I like to think that the blonde-brown hair color is a nod to the Highborne (Dath’remar)!

It is, the softer colours are more highborne as per one of the chronicles iirc.
Edit; there’s not meant to be a great deal of difference between belves/helves/highborne really.
