Spriest talent change suggestion

With 10.1 rework we are no longer have both Mind Spike and Mind Flay, which is very good change, having 2 fillers was super annoying and it add another cast priority to list, BUT now we have “choice” between these two, problem is we dont realy have choice, we just always take Mind Spike because of following talent Mind Melt and that’s just sad. Some can argue that we can stick with mind flay and use these 2 talents elsewhere, problem is that other talents we might choose are just weaker.

I suggest making a choice note where Mind Spike is, either you choose Flay or Spike and then change Mind Melt to something like: Mind Spike increases the crit strike chance of Mind Blast by 20%, stacking 4 times OR Fully channeled Mind Flay/Channeling Mind flay for atleast 1 sec increases dmg of mind blast by X% (30% maybe? just make it balanced compare to Mind spike proc), stacking X times.

Doing this you could take Flay or Spike based on your preference and still be able to do comparable dmg. Of course one of them would have higher max dmg but not its just Mind Spike or much less dmg with mind flay.

I have one more suggestion for Idol of Y’Shaarj, now its just bad other cap stones are much stronger plus Yogg-Saron and C’Thun have sick visual as well.
I personally dont like Mindbaner+Inescapable Torment play style but good change to Y’Shaarj could change it.
I like idea of getting different benefits from idol but now you dont even know what benefit you are getting because most of the time you dont have choice. That said, i would change the way you are getting benefits and benefits themself with it.
For example:

After summoning Mindbender you get benefit based on spell you cast next for duration X sec (maybe for whole duration of mindbender so you are rewarded for playing minigame “keep mindbander alive as long as possible” well?)

Mind blast: Your Devouring Plague apply another DoT which deal X dmg but does not work towards Psychic Link - this would be pure ST dmg choise

Shadow Word: Death: Your Psychic Link dmg is increase by X% dmg - this would be AoE/Spread AoE dmg choise (Note: this dmg should be lower then Idol of N’Zoth so it would be better for spread but worse for stacked AoE)

Mind Spike/Flay: Mind Blast is castable while moving and your movement speed is increase by X% - rarely used but this could solve our problem with damaging while moving

Last could be some group/raid utility enhance for example

Vampiric Embrace: Vampiric Embrace heals two allies instead of one and give them 10 damage reduction - you would probly never hold CD for this but it could be good “oh sheesh buttom” for M+ even raid

These are just some random benefits i can think of right now, main point is that you can get benefit you want not based on some target state.

“It’s an internal meme that we have to re make shadow priest every patch” so maybe in 10.2 we will be fun again.
