Seriously. RDF is one of the best features that you ever made in WoW! I’ve been around since vanilla when we were waiting for 5 hours for AV battle that was going on for another 2 hours. Please, all this time-consuming traveling and talking is too old now…I mean if you want to chat and be a part of a large-scale community, DO IT! But canceling RDF for that reason is lame. Especially after we know that RDF exists and it is such a time-saving feature.
If you don’t have time for classic or the ability to find ingame friends that are willing to go into dungeons with you, play a game that’s more fitting for your life decisions.
But I want to play Wrath of the Lich King, which essentially had that feature. It was made for a purpose. And you can do it your way, no one is stopping you. Should I be forced to interact with you so you could have a friend?
Debatable, and we have to agree to disagree.
Sounds like Classic is not your type of game to be honest.
It was a feature implimented at the TAIL END of original WOTLK, it wasn’t an essential part of the game, and the game existed 90-95% of it’s original time without it.
Should I be forced to quit the game or play a game that’s not fun for me, just so you can have fun?
Your logic works both ways, which means it doesn’t work at all.
Or, hear me out here, we don’t alienate people like this and actually have a healthy game.
This was the best time of my life when I was 16. Now it’s a bit different. But it seems this is really what the community wants. I’m just surprised that people really want these old ways of playing. I’m 30+ with a family and a job. I just don’t see how I can commit so much time…
It was in WotLK for half the expansion.
That’s not tail end by any means of the definition.
What fun are you losing by RDF being in the game?
He wants me to chat with him
TAIL END? It was in the game for 11 months in Wrath tho. “TAIL END”
I’ve tried chatting in current LFG groups, people just don’t do it
If you made life choices that lead to you having not enough time to play classic, you have two choices:
Play a game that isn’t classic. Plenty of games where you have dungeon finder like tools.
Play a tank. You’re finding groups much quicker.
If you don’t want to do either, you still have to realize that you yourself are responsible for having so little time that you can’t be bothered anymore. There are people with kids and job in our raid, and they still can play the game. So your argument is not very convincing.
It was added at half the time, but very close to the end of new content. WotLK ran a long time without content updadtes towards the end.
A complete reshaping of the culture and landscape of the game. Something already damaged by the existence of mega servers. No need to make it even worse or spread the problems mega servers have to smaller servers.
it actually was.
the issue is most seem to not remmeber, WoTLK was live for 3 years due to how long it took catalcysm to release, however it was launched with the final patch of WoTLK which went on for 11 months.
What does content matter in this context?
Do you think people stopped using it cause they cleared ICC?
As opposed to clicking a button, waiting a bit and doing the dungeon without a single word said?
funny since wow has been the casual MMO for people with little time
There is a reason why people wanted Classic in the first place, because they wanted the game as it used to be, how MMORPG games used to feel and play. ‘‘The old ways’’.
It was released at the tail end, doesn’t matter for how long the expansion went on, it was released as part of the last content released for WOTLK before Cataclysm, that is by definition ‘‘tail end’’.
So if Wrath was out for 3 years and RDF was in for a year to make is simplier, thats 33% of the time the expansion was out it was in, thats a big chunk of the expansion…
Yes it came late, did it destroy the social aspect? No not really, ppl saying that dont even play Classic today to know what a trash the social aspect are in game now.
With friends/guildies its fine 100% but with randoms? Like RANDOM dungeon finder, its bad… Way to bad… The social aspect isent there.
Try to stick to the truth.
