Tbh i just wish blizzard would do the % thing like HC, id be willing to bet you guys are the most popular class.
Most players i see are all hunters in open world, i know, cant move 5 foot without a hunter pet running after me.
Ofcourse we are prolly at a point players have 5-6 alts.
BFD is only 1 buff per char as the drop is limited to a one time drop so players are generating alot of chars.
And maybe thats because im on a pvp server, where hunters are incredibly strong but still.
Every time i make bfd group, i get spamed by hunter, and then 2nd are rogues , but damn those hunters there are like 20:1 to druids or wars
At least i have a Bis Hunter, a Bis Priest and a warrior inc. For the next fases!
Im not into logs so I honestly dont know how this data is collected;
But wouldnt the kind of people who play meta-dps classes also be more likely to do logs? I mean mages wont care about their logs or they would simply play another dps.
Would make it really questionable to draw popularity conclusions.

… Hunter is one of the staple classes when you can only afford one main.
Of course some runes might change that, but not everyone knows. I didn’t know about the level 4 druid chest rune removing mana from the game. Much different. (Plus the world buff.)
I hope my resto druid and maybe prot pally choices are okay to move on with. Might struggle with gold, though.
While leveling night elf 1-10 during the last 24 hours, the vast majority I’ve seen were hunters and druids (slightly more of the latter).
And when they got a pet that can nuke you from range, no castbar, no visible projectile, insanely fast. I think that’s also a variable here.
All the hunters screaming at me in a different thread says otherwise.
Yes, u can go even further, lock the number of raid scenarios, the number of npcs or
the number of respawns u can do before a paywall appear in your screen.

You know how it ever was. You play OP class, you know the class is OP, you enjoy stomping sht and you have these delusions you’re actually giga skilled doing it.
So, of course, you’re afraid daddy Blizzard will come in and take your toys. So in every thread claiming your class is OP and it is - you come and start listing long list of nonsense about how your class is actually not OP and literally struggling to do XYZ.
Hunters do that right now, next phase it may be another FOTM and so on… going strong 20 years now.
