You are locking factions for balance, now it’s also time to lock classes as well blizzard for balance. Literally everyone playing hunter in the game, at this point we will be having 90% population becoming hunter.
Lock this class please, no more hunter creation it’s enough.

Its not that bad, and in like 2 months everything is gonna be different anyways.
Why does that exactly matter?
If everyones playing hunter, itd make certain classes more desirable? I.e classes that bring valuable utility or can tank / heal?..

I dont think anyone seriously thinks hunter isnt overpowered lol. Many may say it isnt, to try and discourage nerfs ofcourse lol

Im sorry but trying to proclaim hunter isnt by large the most popular class right now is insanity.
I just made a sum of all DPS parses for all specs (so including tanks and healers) over 1 week range and got the following:
Druid: 438464
Hunter: 432998
Warrior: 414834
Priest: 406686
Rogue: 335681
Mage: 301710
Paladin: 281729
Warlock: 278420
Shaman: 170320
Sure hunters are popular but I don’t see their logs doubling every other class???
What’s next, non crit lightning breath hitting players for 250?
I don’t know what sum you made, but straight from WCL:

Hunters aren’t “double”, but they are easy 30% more parses than the next in line.
Heck, Hunters have 10k more than that - 10k parses shows as “Melee” Hunters at the WCL bottom not included here.
WCL but I took all classes rather than just dps specs because it’s nonsense to pretend that hunters double other classes in popularity while ignoring everything that’s not DPS (hunters can only DPS).
if you sum up pure classes stats all specs: Hunters are still top. Only Priests and Warriors come close.
Not too shabby for pure DPS class.
Funny how logs on wowlogs right now say theres been over 700k Hunter logs yet your totals dont even add up to that eh?

You need to include tank and healing spec aswell to have an overview of class popularity.
Btw for some reason the number of parses jumped by 30k in 30 minutes for hunters (other classes aswell).
Yeha IDK it was 432k 30 minutes ago. Just do the sum for druids and compare.

The actual point is to show just how Hunters are busted as far as DPS roles go both PvP and PvE.

I’ve never disagreed that hunter was the most popular DPS class by a good margin. Even then it’s not that bad, no such thing as “doubling” (except shamans).

But enhancement shamans as a example get double numbers due to the role being thrown in both dps and tank? Lol.
