They get rewarded with rating for that clown show if they’re not the one that lose the most. Meanwhile, me and the other healer went 3-3, I lost mmr. Why should they gain from that clown show just because they didn’t lose the most?
Eventually is too slow. Penalize them instantly. The system needs to be less lenient to DPS in terms of rating gains. Stop giving them free rating when there’s a clown show going down, penalize them, harshly.
This is a guy from a game where a dps went 0-6.
The guy died to running out of range from me and the other healer twice when we couldn’t get anywhere due to slows/roots/cc. Then he didn’t press defensives before dying either. Yet he gains and I lose because of a dps going 0-6(which he lost twice with, with him dying those 2 rounds he played with that DPS), because of this dumb system that rewards DPS that don’t go 0-6 regardless of how bad they performed and penalizes one of the healers unless they are exactly the same mmr.

DPS going 0-6 means the remaining DPS will have 4 wins and the Healer will have a 3-3 gaming. He could actually lose rating depending on healers MMR.
Happens for dps and heals unfortunately. Been in double holy priest lobbies at 2.1k without being gripped once in 6 rounds. Unless it’s intentional griefing then there’s nothing to do about it.
I know it feels bad being stuck at a certain rating but until you improve and carry yourself out, you won’t progress.
Stop focusing on other people’s gameplay, record your sessions and review. Be brutally honest. Unless you’re near the rank 1 spots in shuffle, you’re still making a ton of misplays.
i read the title, penalizing players wiooll make people stop q and play, we already have deserters and other system that sztop griefers, people who play bad stay low rating, people who play good climb, people who loses rating already feel bad, u don’t need to penalize them more
Why should the DPS gain rating from going 4-2 with a 0-6 dps in the game just because they weren’t the 0-6 DPS? It’s free rating. There’s a ton of DPS that goes 0-6.
Why should they gain if they’re not pressing defensives and dying?
Last time I gripped someone it was a mage vs mm hunter/destro lock, he was about to get absolutely murdered if I didn’t grip him out of los from them.
I grip him. And what does he do? He blinks right back out into their sight and dies. Without pressing any defensives.
Man just stop with these troll threads, they’re not helpful and annoying. Focus on the real issues for healers (less inflated than the dps bracket, 6 round format, matchmaking that punishes non fotm healers…) instead of constantly trash talking your dps mates.
What a childish tantrum. DPS are already penalized by 20-30min queues and 0:6 healer lobbies (= 40-60min wasted). And of course rating loss if they are the ones going 0:6. You healers can just queue again and get instant lobbies. But healers will always find something to cry about, won’t they?

What RLY i dont get and makes me mad is everytime a DPs AFK in shuffle and leave one healer gets - raiting and mmr, and its the rounds he will win 99,9% the game count it as you loose them
And it can be a lot of minus i got -40 with that,
Minus 20 the other heal where he gets the leaver first 3 rounds that he all lost
I just had a game where a DH decided to just bolt it to our side, out of range and out of sight from his healer, of the arena and got himself killed in a chastise stun that he didn’t trinket to use defensives against a frost & arcane mage that just went ham on him in the chastise. The round lasted 12 seconds.
This DH gained a ton of mmr that he ought to not really get because he went 4-2 because the hunter went 0-6, except the last game the DH was the one to die and not the hunter he was playing with. The other healer lost mmr because I was lower. Why should the DH get mmr with that kind of plays and the other healer lose mmr because of it? Not being as bad as the hunter deserves a ton of mmr infusion despite such plays? What a joke, free rating role.
