Starting WoW changes my windows colours

Hello
My display is a BenQ XL2411
I use a custom colour scheme in windows for it, so the brightness it had weren’t making my eyes bleed.
However. Whenever I start WoW it seems to change the colour scheme and goes all crazy bright and light colours again and changing the brightness and gamma ingame doesn’t seem to help much (unless I wanna go around in dark mode).
When I then close the game the colour scheme resets back to normal. Is there a way to not have it change at all? Have no issue in any other game. Just WoW.

PC spec:
CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600
Graphic card AMD Radeon R9 390X
16 GB ram

Edit: After looking for some more solutions. I realized that I got the working wrong. It is the ICC profile that WoW changes whenever I open it. If I go into colour management and change the ICC profile back it will do that no problem. Just an annoying thing to have to do everytime. Specially since WoW now runs in windows mode so it should be using whatever windows is using my default.

I would first look into the Windows 10’s gamemode settings. Things you describe also remind me of compatibility mode for Windows shortcuts. Have you changed those things for \World of Warcraft_retail_\Wow.exe?

Yes I have been in the wow folder and set Wow.exe to disable fullscreen optimazition. Done that on the wow launcher too. Didn’t change anything.
Also just looked at windows games mode and WoW did have a profile that was set to high performance. But setting it to default changed nothing.
