Steak a la Mode

It uses [Raw Seraphic Wing]… What on Earth, Blizzard!!!

For those that do not even know what that means, Seraphim are God’s Angels, or a group of Angels standing closest to God. Similarly, the Cherubim are also standing close to God, they are God’s soldiers.

The Seraphim and the Cherubim are mentioned all over the Hebrew, Christian and Islam texts. These winged creatures have been depicted in countless paintings and illustrations in books and painting dating back thousands of years ago and are revered (almost) in all three major religions.

And WE EAT THEIR WINGS ?!!! Seriously?! Is that another, “let’s attack anything cultural and white”, Blizzard?!

Islam, Christianity and Judaism don’t exist on Azeroth.

OK, make it “chicken” wings then. Why take a swipe at major religions and in such a disgusting way?

This. And try to remember that you are playing a videogame, hence a work of fiction.

People eat real animals that have emotions and live horrible lives on farms, but you are upset about an imaginary entity being eaten in a virtual world?

Cognitive dissonance.

What isnt mentioned in all of the old texts is, that they also taste great and buff your stamina!!!

It isn’t a swipe at religion, it’s naming a mob after a religious mythological creature.

Works of fiction do it all the time with things inspired from all religions; even long dead ancient ones.

You finally tired of complaining about a gay pirate and decided to complain about something else?

The cooking recipes this time are nuts

Funny any other real-life issue does

A religion isn’t an issue.

And with this, I can’t take your post serious anymore.

Well, you tried to imply that Azeroth =/= Earth and I tried to imply that the devs imported Earth politics into Azeroth many times before.

Religion isn’t a policy, they’re not the same.

You’re grasping at straws here.

Islam aren’t white.

If you’re going to manufacture some fake outrage at least make an effort, troll.

Excuse me? I know a number of White British people who follow Islam.

You know what I mean, take it as poorly worded or get outraged, your choice.

Imagine if it was something related to Harry Potter that was used, in that case I would feel super offended. You know, because the novels of HP are actually closer to reality than the BS you are quoting.
