So there’s plenty posts about this but i’ll still report to spread awareness, there is this bug where hitting rogues or any class really with throw glaive from stealth brings them out but doesn’t put them in combat, kind of? or does for a second. But they can restealth before the gcd for throw glaive ends lol. This is also an issue when chasing rogues, you can’t keep them with taunt or throw glaive and u can’t chase behind pillars since if you do then you get stun>smokebombed>duel>ecc. and with how squishy dh is it’s basically suicide, but this means infinite reset for rogues with crit legendary, which is gamebreaking in pvp, i’ve hit rogues with throw glaive bounces from their partners and they just instantly stealthed after lol. No it isn’t vanish, i track those. The only way to get a rogue out right now without suiciding, unless he’s terrible, is using meta or stun which are both bad ideas since u want to use it for the immunity. You get sapped during fel rush and seems about same with fel blade. Please fix?
I think I have worked out what causes this most often, sadly for you guys - the most common occurrence of this is if the rogue lands a sap or shadow step during the glave animation, from the rogues pov it actually often looks like the glave doesn’t start animation until after you land the sap then you are knocked out of stealth but can attempt to quickly restealth which is kinda frustrating but yeah its buggy as hell interaction
PS - there is a lot of current bugs regarding stealth interaction with a number of class abilities right now, most rogues live in fear of being in a 20 yard proximity of monks due to a number of there abilities knocking stealth without doing any form of direct damage (and yes I’m aware the lion has an aoe but but I’m not included that despite thinking it should at least have an animation to show the damn aoe)
There is plenty of videos on YouTube showcasing how random some of these interactions are and I think blizzard really needs to look into it, it’s just toxic all around for all involved having so many bad interactions around the skill that you end up adapting to play around the bugs
