I’m using Cheap Shot when in combat and I have no idea why this is happening.

Yeah you are telling me. It never happened in BFA so I don’t know what’s going on.
Are you using Sepsis? When it ends on a target you get 5 secs of being able to use stealth abilities so it swaps your action bar to stealth automatically until you use the ability.
This keeps catching me off guard when i’m trying to use BtE and i’m ambushing instead because Sepsis just ended!

It’s a bit annoying that it swaps your bar to the stealth one, i’d rather put Ambush and CS (the only stealth abilities i’m likely to use in combat) on a different bind than have my stealth bar come up automatically because i have all the other stealth abilities on this bar only to keep them off the interface (Sap, Distract, PP etc) and when it procs these abilities fly up and replace stuff like Blade Rush. it’s really annoying.
Given how it impacts the play, i think Sepsis should have an aura come up or something, (or a buff on you) to help you track when it’s about to expire. It’s not always easy to see the mob in question in big packs and it’s bloody annoying when it happens when you’re not ready for it, but super good when you are.

Yeah, my Ambush is bound to the same key as Between the Eyes just one is on my stealth bar, the other my overt bar, which means if it procs when i’m planning to between the eyes i’ll use Ambush instead.
Cheap Shot is bound to the same as Kidney so that’s not bad, either way I get my stun.
you can probably just use a macro instead. if in stealth - cheap shot, if not bte
True, but it depends how Sepsis is programmed and whether it makes the game think you are in stealth or not. Given the bar comes up, it makes me think it’s coded to make the game think you’re stealthed for 5 secs but not give you the stealth buff.
I think it’s the same as shadow dance. You might just try it

Never tried stealth macros so i’ll give it a spin, is that the proper working macro there? just like that? (format wise) I remember doing something similar for vanilla with warriors and stealth/stances had numbers so you had to do the whole stance=1 rubbish
yes, i’m using the exact same macro for shadowstrike and backstab
