Stereo sound/directional sound/surround sound

Lets talk about this once again.

Same old problem with directional sound when you can clearly hear lets say NPCs infront of you, but when you turn your back to them, there is nothing to hear anymore or when you use mount with NPCs they sound like they are kilometers away from you.

I had this problem years ago on win10, I still have this problem on win11, well it is not really a problem with windows settings nor audio input, motherboard nor drivers.

I know about all workarounds for this, I know that if I turn audio enhance off in windows or directly in realtek setting that it will go away. Another option is to set sound to 7.1 in realtek and only allow 2 main speakers but thats pretty much same result as turning enhancing off. I want to keep audio enhance ON, because what it should be doing is doing very good and sound is much much better with this setting, it is clear, it is louder, it is deeper.

So where is the problem? WoW has no option to force stereo sound. In other games, if I keep audio enhance on, there is an option to manually choose if I want my sound to be stereo, 5.1 or 7.1.

I saw in other post from some blizz stuff saying that “WoW can take advantage of surround sound (whether that be a physical 5.1 or 7.1 system, or a virtual surround sound software when using just 2 speakers)” but I feel like thats not correct, why other games have option too choose stereo sound in-game and all works as it should, working surround/directional sound on headset/with 2 speakers. I point out that I have stereo sound selected in my realtek settings.
