This old clip of Steve Jobs stating that when a company has a monopoly in the market then the sales & marketing staff become priority and effectively run the company. Whilst the product design people who made it great in the first place are pushed further and further out.
I thought that whoever made the video did a great job, it’s a perfect example of what’s happened with WoW.
This gets shared about every 2 weeks where people try to shoehorn his message to fit their narrative of the day.
So what’s your point? Do you think this is what’s happened to blizzard or not?

Plus, thinking ‘Apple’ has been doing great by fans for a long time is a very silly notion because boy did they overcharge for basically every product and what they deliver… Then they make it so third parties can’t repair their products, etc etc. I don’t know why people hold them in such high standards because they ‘made it’ or something just like Musk.
Some ridiculous support for Blizzard out there then. The nerds have come to save their powerful dictators.
Its a shame Steve Jobs decided not to take the treatment that could have saved his life.
I think the point is that while Blizz is not doing good by any means, Apple and Steve Jobs have very few lectures to give in terms of positive evolution, customer focus and good treatment to employees.
The guys who did the great designs in Apple were pushed away, nowadays it’s just overpriced hardware and it’s other companies that actually innovate.
Reading that title I thought the man was back from the grave just to diss Blizzard. “Oh yea btw I forgot to tell you…”
