Have you seen the trailer for this ? I’m looking forward for this series, it looks like its gonna be epic, Henry Cavill totally will do his best while playing the Geralt, he was fan of both games and the books.
While I like the franchise I don’t like the cast choice.
Not sure i’ll have patience to watch it.
I’m more interested in the LOTR series from Amazon.
I like Witcher dark fantasy, Cavill is a good actor, we will have to see how the rest will perform.
And bout LOTR we didn’t received anything good made for it since the LOTR trilogy movies for which I wish that they were made in the 3D but sadly that technology wasn’t available at the time the movies were made, Hobbit movies sucked. Apparently there is a chance that Ian McKellen could reprise his role of Gandalf in the series.
I wish there were better Lotr games.
They keep making the wrong kind of games for this franchise.Nobody wants Assassins Creed with orks, aka Shadow of Mordor.
Most want a proper rpg Elder Scrolls style within the Middle Earth.I would love that.Imagine exploring mines of moria…just wow.The size of that zone is enough to make a game,let alone the entire middle earth.
LOTRO has proper rpg elements,good ost, good lore and a huge map.The combat is very outdated though.
I think there’s untapped potential in this franchise when it comes to games.
As for The Hobbit.It was not bad, the problem I saw in it was the fact that apart from the ending I felt like I watched a kid’s movie.
Well Shadow of Mordor games are good especially if you compare them with the quality of the other single player LOTR games which were released in the recent years. But I agree with you how it would be awesome if the companies like Bioware or CDPR would pick the LOTR IP and make a good RPG games about it but sadly the chances for that are low since its financially better for them to make their own IP-s than to pay royalties for the LOTR license.
I checked LOTRO once and well while it seemed like a solid RPG game the graphics did put me off out of it, the look of that game is now dated for the current age of the gaming. Don’t know how good will be the new LOTR MMO which is made in parallel to the series and which Amazon is backing to.
As for Hobbit yeah, its made for the younger audience because of which it wasn’t that interesting to me, and Peter Jackson made the mistake that he made 3 movies out of it when there is not much story material for that, it would be better if instead of that he just made one movie.
My favourite Lotr games were War in the North and Return of the King ( the old one )
They wanted to make a proper RPG with the White Council game.
Sadly it got cancelled.

There is a super underrated LOTR strategy game that came out in the 2007-8-ish period.

Void vs light theme would be perfect for such thing, as a theme of the expansion or maybe even as a ongoing theme in the alliance. The alliance needs some conflict, intrigue and backstabbing among its ranks so that the faction would become more interesting.
Yeah, I find it weird that both are on the same side ! We need conflict , and Alleria / Turalyon / Malfurion / Velen / Tyrande all need to clash !
And Yrel, don’t forget her, I think how such character deserve to be returned to the game, her story is far from over.

I searched this for a LONG time in the past, even longer than months so I know that feeling.
It’s really frustrating and annoying when you Shazam a song and it can’t find it because either the song isn’t on its database (most likely the case with songs that are made specifically for Games/Movies/TV Adverts etc.) or it just can’t identify it.
If it’s a song with lyrics and you can hear them clearly it helps since you can Google and find it though.
