As a hunter enjoyer I like to use crossbows quite a lot.
But ever since 10.0 (quite a long time ago i may add) crossbows are bugged for female void elf’s specificly (oddly enought female b-elf’s dont have that issue at all) – as shown in this clip:

For those who don’t want to watch that clip: It shows my hunter with an mogged crossbow. This bow is too big by default, but “shrinks” to the size it used to have when you emote/walk/talk/etcpp.
I am reporting this bug ever since (ingame bug report feature) – to no prevail.
So now I am going to try this approach. Maybe if more players report this bug in one way or another it may happen that it get’s fixed.

Using the in game bug report is absolutely the right approach.
CS can’t help with bugs, it needs a dev, CS don’t pass on bug reports either.
The US forums do have a bug reporting forum if you really wanted to post here but it would require you make a US starter account on your existing bnet and levelling a char over there to 10 in order to be able to post.
The outcome is the same as making a bug report, it’s information for the Devs.
It is not meant to “force work” on the CS’s (which isn’t even possible with a post like that)
It is a small bug that I assume little to no ppl are aware of and therefore lil. to no reports regarding this bug may happen.
This post is ment to create awareness – And may lead to some other ppl reporting it too. So that more reports create more awareness on the dev’s side.

I just want to “refresh” ppl memory in regards of this bug and am still looking for people to help reporting this bug in game.
Free the crossbow from it’s visual un-usability ^.^

While I appreciate it’s an issue you’re passionate about, there is no need to bump this thread when it’s already been made clear it’s something to report using the in-game functionality.

Agreed.
BUT – It is a small bug little to no one knows about – So if no one knows it exists, who is going to report it? My goal is just so spread awareness and attention so that more bug reports regarding it may go out.
But if me “digging” out my own thread counts as a necrotic rebirth ritual – sure, I will stop it.
As of today – It seams the last little patch solved the shrinking/growing issue of the cross bows.
Now the only thing that still exists is the kinda wrong displaying of the hunter artifact weapons in the character information panel.
But that only affects the hunter itself and is no issue to any kind of game play at all – So even i can see that this one will still persist some time still.
