I’m put off bringing my alts to Shadowlands not because of the renown, not because of the leveling or the general alt unfriendliness but because of the SL intro. It’s soooooooo mind numbingly boring. Obviously 9.1 hasn’t introduced an intro skip while I’m pretty sure Legion and BFA both had skips by now.
Why hasn’t Sl had one when the others have. Even WoD has one (of sorts) is there some reasoning behind it?.
been asking for months but ive a feeling itll never happen. Theyre so proud of maw (for some unknown reason) that theyll force you to do it over and over.
Its stupid but thats blizzard for you these days
I just want to know the reasoning behind it, there honestly doesn’t seem to be one. Blizz have even reduced the exp you get from it,so what’s the point of being forced to run it now you get less from it.
probably someone high in the ranks had the idea of inventing the maw, so now the maw is a godsend untouchable feature that must be pushed to most players as possible as it is a good idea by definition, no matter what.
They are just trying to make us quit now or what? I didnt mind the maw, it was fast xp just dreadully boring, but this?? oh well i wasnt planning on leveling alts in SL anyways.
Hopefully this gets fixed soon, but for the time being I guess I won’t be doing any alt levelling!
Just checked it out on my DK and the Maw quests that would normally be granting 7,700 exp are giving between 500-800 instead. Apparently the exp gains are now so low that you can’t get anywhere close to hitting level 51 and picking up the Bastion intro quest, but I’ve not had the guts to hand any quests in and test this!
It’s also slightly disappointing, but sadly not unexpected, that this wasn’t picked up on before the patch went live.
