Still no rep stacking, very cool. #NoLife

All these white knights rushing to attack OP who is 100% correct.

‘‘Wqs’’ force you to login, travel to random locations, kill random mobs, for meagre rep everyday if you want the rep.

The rep grants a FEATURE OF THIS EXPANSION which cost 59 euros for the digital delux version.

The OP asks to add

  1. Mobs that grant rep
  2. More quests that give rep
  3. Dungeons that give rep

OP is NOT ASKING
1)Free stuff
2)no effort stuff

dont mind the blizz shills op. any normal person would agree with you.

All I get from this is… OP is a whiner who didn’t get the memo at Blizzcon regarding unlock requirements all of which takes around 2-3 weeks of just doing the daily WQs that are up.
10-11 if you do ALL the WQs per day (2-3 cycles or so)+mission table.

Don’t see the issue OP, I too have a job, a life outside the game and yet I finished my rep grind months ago. Bad excuse, less complaining more doing the content, chop chop.

Well it’s a joke of a game then, there’s catchup mechanics everywhere, but new players need to spend 30d of doing boring WQs to unlock an allied race.

No. I am saying I played. Which is why I have everything ready upon release.
Why should someone who’ve NOT been playing not be needing to do that?

Ah… now you’re resulting to insults and being an armory-hero.
You’re right. I don’t do M+, or raids because they do not interest me. What has that got to do with anything?

It’s got to do with you being incompassionate to new players, and thinking it’s reasonable to wait 30d to unlock an allied race, where it should be done through either a challenge or a grind.

I waited 30d to unlock my mag’har, and I grew to hate the game during that part, until the time I unlocked them, I wasted time farming rep and doing nothing else because I wanted to play a mag’har. So I understand the pain new players will go through, which you clearly are too selfish to understand, you got easy way to unlock them, so you want others to suffer. I tire of this rabble, I bid you farewell for now.

I waited 30 days before the requirements were met. Why shouldn’t everyone else?

I agree. remove those catch up mechanics as well tbh. so rewards actually feel like rewards. There is nothing wrong with having the feeling of being rewarded for what you did so far. Like it or not, people who just return/are new not getting the same stuff as people who played for a while instantly is part of what makes rewards feel like rewards.

The same way 400 ilvl gear does not feel like a reward because you get handed to you everywhere

There’s also catchups with Reps: The BfA daily invasions which exist for 7 hours at a time, starting 12 hours after the last ended.

You also have the command table giving quite a bit of rep here and there, along with the story questlines. It’s really not as bad as people are making it out to be.

If you are a new player, why rush to the new race? What is wrong with the others? Experience the original races first then move on to the new ones. I’ve not unlocked the Alliance races because I’ve never played Alliance. If I ever did I’d play an standard race before (maybe) moving on to another.

I don’t get why new players and people who ‘don’t play much’ what to play an extra race, it screams of fake outrage.

No you didn’t, we played from start of bfa and just did emissaries, people arriving now, either new players or old, have to actually farm for 6-9 weeks, I’m not counting the 1 out of 6 incursions that has to happen in the zone as not all can be online at the time of the incursion.

I’ve got all reputations on exalted, besides zandalari which is like 5k rep from it but can’t be bothered, just letting emisarries finish that up, new players however, got long grind ahead, let’s put it into perspective:

I started BFA farming Honorbound rep for Mag’har, took me 3 weeks doing WQs each and every day + mission table. That’s 3 weeks by doing 3 zones.
Proudmoore admiralty and Zandalari empire have only 1 zone, incursion having to be set in respective zones, and possibly in middle of night or someone’s work schedule, which means, 6-9 weeks of doing WQs and emissaries.

I did not feel mad when warfront contributions came, or incursions, which made those reputations much much easier, I was happy people don’t have to go through hell I went through, and much faster unlock the race they want to play.

You on the other hand, did not have to grind at all, you just did emissaries when they popped up and got exalted over time, you did not have to log day after day to grind WQs and not miss out on any, to get Kul’tirans or Zandalari after 6-9 weeks of doing that. This is the flaw. This is what needs fixing. Stop being selfish and inconsiderate towards other players and wanting them to suffer, I understand wanting others to suffer if you’re a sadist, when you suffered, but you didn’t, you didn’t even grind it yourself, we got them the easy way, anyone coming afterwards got hard grinds and we should try to make it easier for them, as it could’ve been us.

I know people that have been waiting for Zandalari since either MoP or before, and if they bought BFA this month, now, wanting to play them, I don’t wish them to have to farm for 6-9 weeks before being able to play them, it’s pointless grind. I wouldn’t even call it grind as it’s limited to daily WQs, grinding would be grinding dungeons/npcs for reputation.

You have now resorted to armory-police me (while bravely hiding behind a level 13 forum alt btw), calling me selfish, calling me a sadist, calling me incompassionate and making all kinds of assumptions of how horrible I must be.

All of the above because I played by the rules and requirements set by the game, and ask that if the rules applied to me, they should apply to everyone else as well.

This is going nowhere, so lets just agree to disagree.

you are still fighting against TIME-GATED forced REP for a FEATURE OF THE EXPANSION (59,99 EUROS)…
the OP merely asked A GRIND…4-5 rep per mob like argent dawn in vanila, or hdyraxian waterlords…you could grind all day all night for few days or grind months, your choice!

I armory-policed you because I took you for some kind of an elitist, because you wanted others to suffer while you didn’t even suffer yourself, you and I both got these allied races easy way, by doing emissaries for gold/resources/gear/azerite, people that try to get them now have to grind actual WQs day to day, which you not understanding makes you incompassionate and yeah little sadistic.

So I took mention that after 10 years of gameplay you can’t even do mythic0 content, which kinda makes me understand why you don’t want this change that’s beneficial for others and doesn’t harm you, because you see this kultiran unlock as your great achievement, since you got nothing else in game that counts as “your achievement”. Well guess what, it’s not. You just got them while doing emissaries for other stuff over the period of 7 months, which is not “grind”, it’s just doing 4 WQs every 7 days, and you can skip a day or two.

Since we’re going with armory-policing, your neck is level 38, which means you barely do WQs, and once again, you want new and returning players to grind them for 6-9 weeks, which is more WQs than you did this whole expansion. Sadistic.

I subbed for 1 month and hit revered with all the alliance avaialble BFA factions and exalted with the 7th legion and the Proudmores.
I just spent like 1 hour daily doing relevant WQs
I have skipped some days for other tasks though.

OP is exactly what made WoW into what it is today: He sees something he wants, gets repelled by the work that it takes and then starts whining on the forums that other people (who did the work or paid for boost) have what he doesn’t.

I never understand this… the bar is set the same for everyone. If your rep grind is limited, then that’s what it is. You’ll get there, and once you’re there, it’ll be all the sweeter because you put so much time and effort into it.

I do understand your frustration, I have limited playtime myself, but that’s exactly how I’m now dealing with the allied races, and got the old allied races… login every day and get all the rep you can. It seems you’re too bent on that one thing that is only slowly coming along. It is what it is. Either go for it, or go do something else.

Making stuff easily available for everyone who doesn’t want to put in the effort for whatever reason is what sucked the soul out of this game.

What about people who see something they want and are upset to find that they can no longer obtain it no matter how hard they might be willing to work to get it?

That is not the situation he’s talking about - and even then, it might just not be for you. There are plenty of things in this game that people once got that are no longer attainable, which is fine with me.

That is about life not a game where you are supposed to gain some satisfaction though.
If a game imitates the bad parts of the real life then one sticks to life or goes to other games when he is done with the available story quests.

No.
I want the same requirements I was given also to be given to everyone else.

You didn’t have same requirements, you did emissaries for azerite/gold/resources/gear, and got exalted through time with 0 effort, just like everyone that played BFA. You did not have to grind, at all. Your neck is 38, that’s not even doing 1 zone of WQs a day. This character is 3-4 weeks old and already near level 43 neck, just how goes to show how many WQs u did.
