I was watching a chinese anime called (The King’s Avatar) and i noticed during the first episode that there are audio effects taken from wow and warcraft 3 like (first ep min 18.46-18.57)you can clearly hear the wow classic rogue poison proc and and the noises that the wisp make in WC3 and more audio that I have already heard but I can’t remember where, is legal this thing ??

Pretty sure whilst Blizzard does create some sound effects themselves, they also get others from stock, over the years I’ve heard sound effects I recognize from WoW all over the place; other games, TV shows and ads, movies.

sounds can be so similar, and some are from generic databases.
The after forever song “energize me” has the same sound sample in it as a protoss arbiter
There is a soundbank that has audio and sounds that supplies sounds for anything. Fir example whip cracks, sounds of birds of prey etc are supplied.
