Is there a way to stop auto attack when i tab/change target?
This is killing me softly.

i’m looking for the opposit,
i play warrior without macros and still have to press Attack
is there a way to always be in auto attack? (without macros and add-ons)
Don’t you auto-attack on right click? I do, no addons here, but not Warrior.
I don’t right click either.
I can’t exactly tell why. Might be related to hunter habits, or perpetual complaints of out of range.
So I click or tab, and then use my first ability.
Then it depends. Flame Shock isn’t an attack, so it doesn’t activate AA either.
Right click is how I do - also as Hunter, listeneing to “Out of range” so much, I don’t hear any longer 
Only other solution then - I think - is keybind Auto-attack.
I usually bind a /startattack on my basic attack like fireball or crusader strike or whatever so when I tab target I will start casting/auto attacking. You can do the same with a /stopattack (I think that’s the one) or /stopcasting on another spell or as a keybind in itself.

it’s hard to target a little gobelin or a gnome with right click, or a hunter after he use fein death, it’s stop the auto-attack

ok so the only solution is to make a macro so
i asked because sometimes i don’t have enough rage to do anything and i’m runinn’ after the enemy without auto-attacking him lol
Yeah making that macro will make you auto-attack even if your spell is on cd or not available. It beats having to right click on targets

just asking if there is a way without macros… what’s your problem? YOU want attention, your 3th post on forum and it’s to attacking me for free, i don’t know you princess, stop attacking people you never talked with
Right click is not a macro, bind auto-attack is not a macro. The question doesnt have sense at all.

Any melee attack enables auto-attack automatically and persists with tab if u can perform the action. Exceptions are when being a energy/rage/focus class you dont have enough to perform the attack.
In this rare situation you can just cancel auto attacking by deselecting the mob/target by clicking anywhere else in the game field.

Did you look through the settings. Pretty sure I saw something mentioning stop auto attack
