This is unacceptable in a service for which we pay a subscription, all BGs are full of bots, between 30% and 70%.
No matter what faction you belong to or what time you play, it is always full of bots.
Then there is news of players being banned for THEIR PET’S DEFAULT NAME!
It’s surreal as hell and the best thing is that there are people who support this way of acting on the part of Blizzard, defending them with arguments like “If they don’t do the bans in waves or very soon there is no way to verify that they are bots with the data”
“If there is a GM checking the BGs there could be a failure and real people could be banned”
What kind of joke is this? Where do these people come from?
I mean… a guildie of mine got one of his two accounts banned because of “botting” while he was boosting a char on his other account. Dude is a total fan of the game and plays every free moment he gets and they mistook it for botting. Real people do still get banned in those waves.
The problem is there’s not super personnel to handle these. People in a call center who don’t know what wow is or how to support it. The last of the inhouse Support staff was laid off a month ago.
To appeal anything to a human you have to go through 3-7 automated rejections that come less then 5 minutes after you send the appeal before you get a human and that guy is just looking up stuff in a knowledge base.
I totally agree!! When the hell will Blizzard do anything about all these ret pala bots in bgs. The majority seem to be on Gehennas and Firemaw from what I can tell.
I report them all when I can but it’s beyond ridiculous, and ruining battlegrounds for everyone.
And reporting does absolutely nothing, I see the same names over , and over again, after reporting them numerous times.
It’s clear that Blizzard care more about the subscriptions from these botting RMT traders, than the people just trying to enjoy the game without this disease!!
This is a problem I can live with, would rather appeal a ban than have to deal with all these bots 100%.
A week without WoW or a lifetime of bots, which do you prefer?
sadly at this point i’d rather have the option to buy gems from honor removed.
its not fair that because of some greedy pve wallet players pvp-ers get punished.
they make profit out of those who are still trying to queue up for battlegrounds (for some reason).
basically ruining every single battleground for legit players, then! they buy gems from that leeched honor that they sell on AH, then they sell back that gold to raidloggers who are not even affected by the problems they cause because they are not playing pvp.
this is from a year ago. at this point its just obvious that blizzard don’t care about the game and have zero respect to its playerbase. nothing is done, they just do rare banwaves once in a while so it looks like they are doing something and to boting in wow remain profitable. lets not forget that this is same company that made diablo immortal.
