its a way of cheating against players who have only one account. If others want to play on several accounts thats they’re decision. But now thx to the multiboxing players with one account are screwed. They dont find any herbs or ores just because of the multiboxing. Blizzard do something about this or is money the only thing you care about

I would love to see some changes made to gathering to combat the problem with nodes being depleted by mass farmers.
There have been various suggestions including the nodes being up are specific to each character so x number would be up in a zone but it’s not in the same places for every character. That would technically make multiboxing undesirable.
Another suggestion was to give us a kind of farm like MoP or Herb Garden like in our Garrison’s to combat the unavailability of certain herbs.
I think it’s very unlikely that they will ever change their stance on multiboxing itself as it’s permitted.

Wouldn’t that just make it easier for the botters?
If everyone could gather herbs at their own farm then we would get a ton of herbs on the market. Prices drop significantly, it will become worthless to farm them.
It would not benefit multiboxers nor botters and it would not even help us.
Just spread out the herbs over more than one zone. Simple. Or make the recipes less dependant on one specific herb. Plenty of possibilities.
The complaint is we can’t herb, multiboxers are taking all the Zin’anthid. So a means to get your own is a solution.
If your complaint is you hate multiboxers or people able to make lots of gold then no your’e never going to be happy because Multiboxing is permitted as Destrarion linked above.
I’m not complaining. I was just saying that as this topic comes up consistently we should have a more prominent answer for the people posting it.
I personally would love a farm, I am fed up with fighting multiple flocks of druids who deplete nodes before I can get to them.
I would also be fine with the other solution that was suggested by someone regarding the nodes being different.
The issue (in my opinion) is us not being able to get the herb to remain self sufficient to make our own flasks and potions. Zin’athid is only available in Nazjatar, other zones aren’t stripped bare of their resources in the same way because it is not as profitable.
Multiboxing comes up regularly on the forums, some mistake it for botting, which it isn’t and others are just annoyed that they can’t herb. If you have some better suggestion for a solution, then by all means share it, but for now those are the only two realistic proposals I’ve read in these discussions.

I’ve always been against multiboxing - If it was stopped then there’s a big chunk of the problem removed. But not my game, not my rules.
Aside from that - You could just remove the rarer herb drops or remove them from the recipes. If people are so pro-multiboxing then something else is going to have to give.
I’m not a fan of multiboxing myself but it’s part of the game and I don’t think we’ll ever see Blizzard change the rules now to stop it. They seen no difference between five friends playing together or five multiboxing characters together. So it can only be addressed by changes to how things work in the game.
Could they not have a vendor for the achoes of Ny’alotha for those who don’t need essences to trade in for raw gathering materials?
Multiboxers are great way to do your pvp daily.
Week–end and quarantine has made people bored, I see.
I am goign to add my bit now after i got killed by one of these packs of druids who dragged a whole bunch of mobs on me while trying to clear a node he stripped clean.
He did this twice to me. Killed me twice as i was trying to clear a node so i can get the herb.
Needless to say i logged off in disgust. I took a break.
Well… yeah.
Dont think they will ever give a rats a** about how f’ed up multiboxing is for everyone else as long as they get payed.
Its stupid, but its Blizzard.

Little by little this game is being bled dry of players. How fast this happens is also up to blizz themselves. If they choose to ignore things that annoy people in favor of $ then they cant moan when their subs and $'s drop below what is needed to keep the game alive.
I just got killed twice by the same pack of flying druids who stripped the node clean that i was trying to clear when they dragged tons of mobs to me. Intentionally. I was fricken furious at this point.
Have not played for an hour. I am fricken mad that this crap is allowed to continue with impunity as all blizz cares about is $
