Its best not to have high expectation on who likes your opinion here or not on the forum because most of them lurk the forum here 24/7.
They are extremely judgemental and narcistic people.
Shallow is also the word i could use here.
They only care about their version of World of Warcraft.
Yea they mass reporting me, alaric spreading lies and mods are sleeping. I move to US forum at least someone from blizzard may read this.
They are like sad and old reddit users that hide behind their wow profile picture thinking they achieved something in life because they “know” wow mechanics.
their Raider io score is all they have.
Really sad and pathetic.
Curious how none of your posts seem to be hidden…
Mmmhmm. I’d like to see the proof. Is it anything like your claim
Considering the Abyss Worm can’t be bought for bronze yet for another week that’s pretty good going from Alaric.
Are you sure you’ve been checking Legion Remix regularly?
Oh no…
And best of luck with getting Blizzard to dance to your little self important tune…
Yeah!! I mean who comes on to a forum and brags about their wow play?? Who does that? What sad and old reddit users would do a thing like that…
And no one cares except them and a potential group.
Yes. isn’t it just. Bit like whining because a mount you farmed 489 times before it finally RNG’ed in your favour is now available (not yet remember, maybe you should remind a certain someone of that before they REALLY make themselves look silly for the third time).
One of my posts vanished. I told Alaric “I guess you found your match too”. Should be right after his last comment. He even liked the post. Woke up this morning, its not there anymore.
Sorry you had a post removed
The OP is literally bragging all over about their achievement points and how everyone else is a casual compared to their awesomeness.
It’s just because people you don’t like are disagreeing with him that you are on his side. Kinda pathetic ngl.
Hold on, my behavior is worse than you and your lurker buddies here on this forum nitpicking on people their expectations of the game? Well isnt that just crazy.
But you have been here very long havent you Dejarous. This is you 24/7 isnt it.
Not what I said but reading is hard i guess.
Wait, I’m one of Deja’s “lurker buddies”?
I don’t know whether to be overjoyed on my behalf or insulted on his…
I think I’ll be awesome and be both…
Did i miss the community vote where we elected a Chairperson for the entire playerbase?
I can’t agree with you on that. While I understand and even appreciate the idea of exclusivity to some extent, that concept works better for smaller or shorter-lived games. In a game that’s been around for over 20 years, the context is completely different.
You have to realize there’s a massive group of players who either didn’t know about the game back then or were literal kids at the time. Imagine a new player today, maybe 18–20 years old, scrolling through TikTok or YouTube and seeing someone riding an absolutely insane mount. That visual alone could be what sparks their interest in trying World of Warcraft.
They buy the game, log in, and then find out that the mount they admired is permanently gone, locked behind some old “you had to be there” FOMO event. Naturally, they’re disappointed. Maybe they even tell a few friends about how frustrating that felt. That’s not a great look for the game’s longevity.
I get why exclusivity existed, prestige, accomplishment, legacy, but that logic doesn’t fit modern gaming anymore. For example, take transmogs. Someone sees a character looking amazing in some old Challenge Mode gear and gets motivated to play and look like that. Blizzard’s response? “No, you can’t have that.”
With the way Blizzard has built FOMO into WoW, they expect players to keep up with every single patch, event, and news post and immediately start grinding whatever new thing might become exclusive. That’s not sustainable, and it’s not healthy.
If we want World of Warcraft to truly grow and welcome new generations of players, we have to adapt to their expectations and motivations, not just preserve old systems that lock them out of the content that inspired them to join in the first place.
That’s my honest opinion.
Yeah you did. I relinquished the title and handed it over in a completely legit ballot and in no way whatsoever accepted 5 million gold and a CE boost.
Nobody is locked out of any content. But making mounts like the „deadly gladiator netherdrake“ available again, when such a season will never appear again…I am not too sure.
Same with seasonal m+ mounts. Most of them are hideous, but the season is over.
Magetower is a real headscratcher. They even balanced it in shadowlands (iirc). I would argue it’s fair game to bring the weapon skins back.
Challenge mode weapons and sets…while my elitist behind would say „attach them to the m+ title“ , I think that is a bit extreme.
Make them the next reward step, keystone titan (enter class) and once you hit keystone titan with every class, you get the wod weapons. Or something like that. Obviously with every keystone titan (enter class) you get the respective class transmog from mop.
I admit that I was wrong about the challenge modes in my first comment. Challenge mode is the predecessor of m+ after all.
And if that next reward step brings more people into high keys, why not.
I see your point, and I actually like that you’re thinking about possible systems like linking old rewards to new achievements, that’s a constructive way to look at it.
Still, I’d say people are locked out of content in a way. Sure, they can play the same dungeons, raids, or arenas, but not with the same context, atmosphere, or rewards that once defined those experiences. Those rewards are part of the content’s identity. When something is removed forever, you’re cutting off a piece of that history for every new player that joins later.
The idea of keeping prestige is fine, but it doesn’t have to mean total removal. There are ways to preserve both sides:
Keep the original version exclusive (same name, title, or model).
OR
Reintroduce a slightly altered version for modern players through hard achievements or special events.
Or, or, or…. Like there are ideas everywhere.
That way, veterans still keep their legacy, while new players have something meaningful to chase.
MMOs live through motivation, not just nostalgia. If new players feel like they’ll never be able to earn something inspiring because they joined late, that kills motivation. It’s not about giving everything away, it’s about giving players a reason to care and stay invested.
And for example, why is this mount locked?
https://www.wowhead.com/item=190170/jigglesworth-sr#comments
Just why? And then they hand out dublons in Dragonflight’s last season? Like, who in their right mind will jump in and start playing at the end of an expansion? (Except me.)
Why would you do that? Just whyyyy…
Speak for yourself. Many people like timewalking, legion remix, and especially brawler’s guild. Remix is a great opportunity to catch up with collectibles quickly. A lot of players loved Brawler’s guild. The fact you can see, and cheer for the people fighting was fun. The way MMO should be presented. Not like everyone is supposed to run Choregast alone. So yeah, before saying “not what we want”, make a poll or something, because in worst case devs can listen to you.
However I agree that content like Visions or Torghast shouldn’t return.
catch up with collectibles quickly
That shouldn’t be a thing. Collecting lost soul, why we should collect new things now instead just waiting for tww remix?
Then don’t do it now. If you are satisfied waiting for Remix, then do that.
Personally I enjoy collecting. The fact that they have Remixes does not affect my enjoyment. Just like you buying boosts doesn’t make any difference to those that have to wait for Mythic to become old content and then attempt to collect the mounts.
Because the game is 20 years old? Imagine new player joining that love collecting everything. Honestly I would quit and change the game when I would see how much work I would have to do to catch up.
Some unique items should not be possible to get like mage tower tmogs, challenge mods from wod etc. but every useless recolor from raids or dung for example? dude, please…
The fact you wasted so much time collecting those 52k achiev points, doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be any catch ups in the game after 20 years.
