hello
desolate host will bug if you kill them too fast, forcing a permanent encounter. we tried to reset by killing ourselves and got stuck. we all then relogged but it is still stuck as ofnow.
actually affects this character not alysithra, sorry!
you posted this two years later so it did not help because the instance id is long since gone unfortunately. (konnara here. name changed.)
it also did not work since, like i stated in OP, even after dying we were permanently stuck, and could not release.
we followed all of the steps right when killing the boss initially, it had just bugged for some unknown reason. we couldnt release as our bodies were stuck after jumping. this happened to all of us. stealthing (at the time) also did not work, and those who were capable of it also ended up stuck in the pit.
logging out for about an hour and logging back in probably ended up fixing it, since it forced us out of the instance, but i cant remember if we ever finished the instance or if it got stuck on “raid encounter in progress”.

Why are you still replying to this? I’ve long since left the game. Better idea would’ve just been to make your own thread.
