Stop saying Torghast layer 3 is easy

No?

That’s me in resto spec killing the Fracture Halls last boss on Layer 3 in about a minute, in a chill run where I didn’t even optimize for damage, and played rather half-assed too. In a speedrun, I can kill pretty much any boss in ~30 seconds. I had some dead during Convoke with lucky anima powers.

Whole L3 run took a bit over 30 minutes, at a chill pace.

I ate crap with my SW hunter, seems like rogues, mages and arms warriors can have a hard time too, if they do not get optimal Powers.

Take into account that a mage can get something like +2000% dmg and +100% dmg to every spell while as hunter your peak is +30% dmg to kill command…

This is your mother’s business plan, no?

I found all 4 layer 3s quite easy and I am neither of the classes you mentioned.

Layer 3 is a decent challenge for your average player, sure, but it’s not impossible.

You just need to put a bit more effort, which is not a bad thing. Getting things on a silver platter ruins wow.

Hei man,

Its a bit rng, i did as a ww, no tank, low heals.

Tips:

Clear all floors, all urns, all
Mobs, all rares.

At the end u will get like minimum 17 animas.

Choose animas smart

Ammix between damage animas, health animas and defensive animas.

Try to get there with 4 lives u can additional buy 2
More.

Its no hard, u can die 1-2 timea to learn ehat u need to intrerupt at boss fights.

Dis both layer 3 in 45 min yesterday with this strategy, dont skipp stuff, make a mix of dps, health pool, defensive animas and its gg.

I rly think everyspec can solo, grouping its harder.

G luck man! Hope it helps!

Do we have different ideas of what forever means? This is what I’ve done to all layer 3 bosses on my priest.

inb4 you were lucky

It really is, as a warrior I got the shattering throw 10000% dmg+200% dmg after charge and being able to oneshot last bosses on floors. It’s so much fun like playing with gm powers.

As long as you get one set of the 2K damage increase on your first fireball/frostbolt/arcane blast while you are invisible you are fine. The rest is down to rotation. Mages do not get many other forms of damage increase beside longer Timewarp duration and stronger timewarp overall.

The rest is all down on how much intellect you can stack up. Getting multiple intellect boosts increase your chances of getting through the fights way more than other RNG components.

Truth be told with a class like rogues, who have decent self heal, physical damage immunity, multiple forms and types of CC I find it hard to imagine if any boss cause difficulty as long as you have optimal itemlevel of atleast 150 for it.

So far most of those whom I have seen struggling on these classes were all below 130, which I do not think is what the ideal gear range is for layer 3. You can get a near full set of 151 gear really cheap from the AH (minus weapon) and Thorgast is recommended to do once you are done with your weekly grinds, since you will have higher ilvl to smash through the levels with.

As a hunter you can also get:
10% damage increase on targets who have hunter’s mark on them.
100% crit and damage increase upon stunning a target for 6 seconds.
20% pet damage increase for 15 seconds (which also increases the size of the pet)
20% damage increase to your pet if you misdirect on them (also 90% damage reduction to the target misdirected from another anima power.)

And these are just the powers that increase your damage in some form, not counting powers like how you can continue attacking while you are using turtle, or how you can get a major CD (coordinated assault) running for 60 seconds when you enter a floor (which likely stacks the timer.)

RNG is RNG, but the more gear and through it the more soul remnants you have the less impactful the RNG powers will become. Most of the anima powers that are outright broken aren’t even rare. Basically, throwing more gear at the challenge helps a lot in overcoming it, as always.

If you can’t complete layer 3, then no legendary for you I suppose. I’ll quote you “use brain”.

Its not class balanced, you have it easy.

its player balanced, every class can do it, not every player

Nah its rng ruling, just like a real roguelike, which I have said numerous times, doesnt work in an MMO.

i’ve done it at 140 as unholy when i had no idea that i am supposed to pick single target powers
obviously i have no issue now at 181 as blood but u get the point
people who have issues with torghast most likely click their abilities, sorry but it gets super easy after 2 or 3 runs and u realise what u need to focus on

Im a hunter and its still hard

Oh I know what to of focus on… but honestly, I am tired of saying the same thing over and over again to each and single individual nay sayers that you know very well is true that is rng dependant depending on classes.

Well, it is easy… for the majority of classes in the game.

Rogues or maybe Warriors are an exception which probably lacks some things due to balancing issues of both classes and TH powers for those classes.

then stop saying it if its obviously a 90% player issue and not rng. I haven’t had a run where i didn’t get atleast one really good ability

It’s RNG, but better players will mitigate poor RNG more often. The further you can get without good power gives you more chances to find something good that’ll turn a run around.

Strange how you ignored the fact my achievements are now updated.
