This is literally a Blizzard made problem with plaguefall, no idea why people are putting this on the players, if you get more XP from skipping 2 bosses that’s on Blizzard not the players
In leveling dungeons skipping bosses is a huge problem for new players or those who play without heirlooms (also known as Chad Gamer Elite). Leveling is too quick, even for new players, so your gear from quests will never keep up with your level. Dungeons offer more reasonable exp and rewards, but when the group bullrushes the last boss, you get no items. It’s a huge problem in some BFA dungeons. I don’t think it’s possible in WoD timewalking dungeons, also known as The Best Leveling.
My problem isn’t inherently dungeon skips. It is that with leveling too quick, quests not giving enough gear and dungeon skips, new players will have a much harder time playing, having their gear be 20 levels below what they should be using. Through no fault of their own, they just haven’t had the chance to receive enough adequate gear.
Nope, you get more by speedrunning through the dungeon for your time than if you stopped to do the actual bosses themselves. The XP from the end of the dungeon makes it a better deal to just skip
It’s still a waste of time if you put in the time to do trash etc, its just faster to skip and rush for the end of dungeon XP which is a lot higher than what you would get from the 2 bosses
If you want to kill all bosses create your own dungeon group in LFG.
It’s so annoying when people dont skip trash/bosses, I joined the dungeon to get fast exp and speedrun not to get “gear” that will become useless in next 30minutes.
Now that we know the secret mount is from Plaguefall that requires solo-ing the last two bosses, then being able to skip through to them becomes more obvious as an intended method.
You absolutely are, you dont understand that’s its not worth stopping for 2 bosses that will reward near to no xp while you can rush for the HUGE XP chunk at the end of the dungeon, the faster you go the faster you’ll get your next end of dungeon XP. It makes it more worth it than stopping for them
And then sitting 10 minutes in oribos waiting for the next. Yes, that 1 extra minute for a clean run without more trashpulls by failed skips is totally worth it.
There are 3 dps in 1 group. And on the 3 healers that i leveled i definitely didnt had instant queues.
Also on threads of fate you fill the bar based on the amount of bosses you kill. So you have to do extra dungeons/quests to get that renown if you skip. Not sure what the time gain is… Especially with the amount of failed skips. Tank leaves, wait another 10 minutes in the dungeon waiting for a new tank.
