Hey.
So been playing since day 1, launch 2005. What’s been bothering me for several years are that the storage is way to small. I know you added the transmog system so we can vendor the gear we don’t use. But I like to save things, still got stuff from vanilla days in bank that I really don’t want to sell or delete.
And as we see now with the Time walking event, we are again in need of older gear. That most of us probably gotten rid off by now. Which makes us in need to re obtain the items we need(if obtainable).
My thoughts are that you should increase bank slots(the slots for bags) with a whole new row( been 7 since vanilla) so we can add more bags n more loot.
Then remake the resource tab in bank, so it becomes less messy and able to store more.
So many expansions now with sooo much resources that could be good to store for the future.
So a tab for each expansion in the resource tab.(easier to find stuff when you make specific expansion items).
Then if you have not forgotten, the void storage need atleast one more tab. ( so people like me can actually collect sets without deleting them). (Affection value)
Just a thought not a complaint.

tbh just give each expansion their own storage page. that should do the trick.

Seems like you have a hoarding issue and need help with that.

In the case of the resource tab, it will be better to have access to the resource tab from other characters in the same realm, without needing to send items from one character to another with mail.
Edit: I even said it should not be just for the resource tab. Let us access to other characters’ banks without sending items with the in-game mail. Without allowing to move BOP items outside other characters’ banks, of course.

add 7 more slots for bags in bank
add 1 resource tab per expansion(auto sorting items)
add atleast 1 more tab to void storage.
Better?

Yes, I have almost no slots on most of my characters.
Could be a bit messy to have normal bank linked. But the resource tabs server wise, I like that idea. That way you don’t have to mail items all the time.
A way better!
Skip the “watering”.
I was thinking of something like the addon Bank Items. That addon shows your bank with a dropdown in the upper part with your list of characters so you can switch from your bank to any other character bank, having only one bank opened at a time to avoid making it extremely messy.
Exactly HOW many Bank/Bag slots do you want…?
Ah, I suppose that is a way to go aswell.
More than we have. They have not increased it in many years. But we keep looting new stuff. But maybe it is only me sitting at the beginning of a new expansion for an hour or 2 on every character cleaning up bags and stuff. Mine are ALWAYS full end of each expansion with things I wanna save incase I want to go back and finish stuff(expansion resources and so on).
If you keep stuff for TW min/max-ing, that’s a very niche requirement.
Otherwise; ask yourself WHY you are keeping some of the stuff that you do - sentimentality doesn’t go hand-in-hand with efficient storage use.
If your Transmog. Tab recording cosmetic appearances doesn’t cut it, I don’t know what else to suggest.
if you ran out of storage space on multiple alts, you should tidy up your banks, and if you really like to hoard mats from old expansions, create a guild on some alt to have access to a personal guildbank.
Got a filled out guild bank aswell and multiple bank characters. Mostly with valueable sellable stuff. Like now all of a sudden crusader value increased insanely, I’ve earned alot of gold just doing that and selling just from stuff I’ve saved in banks.
Pretty sure it was vanilla and not burning crusade.
Well it did go hand in hand until legion. I saved each tier set in Void bank, and some cool weapons and shields in bank. But they keep throwing out new tiers. Back in the day each set had a value, now with transmog system people no longer appreciate the gear.
Just stop hording (get it?) and dump that rubbish you never use. Make a few bank alts, with max slot bags and send your BoE stuff and mats to them.
