Or you can just level 58 to 70 and get around 3k from doing tbc quests and buy the epic with those

It is not just collectorâs edition items. In the TBC there were other items that could be bought with real money: Blizzcon rewards and TGC rewards, and yes, it included mounts. Particullary I find strange that Blizzard could be making a new store mount for TBC when they could just use TGC rewards, those items are able to be monetized in the store and at the same time people could not complain that it does not beling in TBC.
