So you want NPC’s to stay in sanguine?
hard to read ig
doesnt want to move choose possibly the most mobile class in the game
if sanguine is down, i take damage from it also lol. So obviously i don’t mean then
The pull is completed, the mobs are still nearly full hp. The tank JUST RANDOMLY STARTS MOVINGIISUNHIFSOUNJSDIOUVUCSVJNV
boon is wasted. no dmg
I got it too and it’s the most useless trinket in M+. After a couple of weeks I just threw in the towel and swapped it for another lower ilvl trinket with worse stats because I could almost never use it. There’s always stuff to move from in M+, especially now with Thundering.
If the on use just lets you move and cancel the effect it might be a viable choice. Or just let you /cancelaura it like almost all other buffs/effects in the game but that isn’t even possible. You are literally grounded for a whole 10 seconds. Very impractical.
but the damage is insane. It’s totally usable as rog. You have 2 immunity, basically.
just need tanks to stop getting so excited
Wait…this thing provides immunity?
no, rogues have 2. Cloak of Shadows for magic, evasion for physical, as long as you face to incoming damage
Ah yeah. Rogues might have a good ride with this trinket indeed. Fortunately I’m not a Rogue
Rogues can also shadowstep on the tank/other melee while it’s active as a means to avoid getting nuked when the group has to move from pain, can’t they?
I myself have tasted some delicious floors in m+ using it. I kinda wish enhance could spirit walk with it, being the spec that has the elements willingly lending them their power lore-wise. But alas.
yeah i couldn’t recommend it otherwise lol. We can even shadowstep with it, and from 10.0.5 outlaw can easily take it with talent rework. Teleport on to a party member or tank
nah, not with current outlaw/shadowdance build. Unless we want to lose a huge amount of damage or some QOL. (to get step)
Aww, I see.
Well, at least there’s still the immunity against being insta-deleted like the rest of us, hehe.
Knowing Blizzard they probably want us to use this trinket in conjunction with our totally amazing super powerful defensive cooldown. It even got buffed in Dragonflight (through a talent), we can now use it more often!
Reincarnation, that is…
Not all tanks have the same immunity to stand still while you’re casting. And even if they have, it is rarely worth it – trading a major tank CD for a single DPS trinket use. You literally can’t use this trinket anywhere in HoV (constant kiting), NO (constant ground effects), RLP (ground effects), TJS (kiting and ground effects) and AV (frontals and ground effects), and in half of CoS and AA. You could take it in SBG, I suppose, but I’m not sure you would benefit from it that much as there are aren’t any big pulls, just two-three slightly bigger packs, and you really, really don’t need any external help in SBG. But the wiser move would still be to talk to your tank beforehand and specifically ask if there would be any opportunities on their route for this trinket to shine because you’re addicted to topping charts that much.
The only place where I use this trinket, is Heroic dungeons when I collect half the dungeon for the ultimate blast.
So, in HOV most of the tanks this week pull 3 packs. They won’t kite until the dragon frontal has finished.
RLP the excavating blast cover a small area, you can tank still close to the dps.
Look, i don’t want to continue this. You are 2.2k. What you don’t know could fill a book.
So, in HOV most of the tanks this week pull 3 packs. They won’t kite until the dragon frontal has finished.
Actually, this week, most of the tanks won’t, because they don’t trust their PUG group members to handle dozens of explosive orbs by themselves. But other weeks, ye, this is quite normal. Still, unless you’re a Prot Warrior, you would hardly be standing there still eating nine tank busters in a row when slowly back stepping could mitigate 80% of the damage you could receive on that pull and thus, untie hands for your healer.
But still, first pull there is just an outliner in every way possible, by which you shouldn’t judge the whole dungeon. Literally almost every pull you do after the first boss will have at least one Shieldmaiden in it, and you don’t facetank Shieldmaidens because of stackable short range debuffing tank busters. You also don’t facetank Bears or Rams, and together they make HoV the way it is – the dungeon in which you’re forced to constantly kite away.
Again, just the first big pull. The general attitude is correct, though, you should always tank closer to the DPS because maximizing your group damage output is one of your main duties as the tank. But still, should doesn’t equal can in this first season.
Don’t worry too much about my CR on this character, and you wanting to continue or not is irrelevant to me continuing or not. You do sound as a player on which I usually put a note on in game, but you have posted your objectively wrong takes on a public forum, so I will just explain where and why they are wrong for the benefit of general public alone.
